on my holidays tomorrow. No papers, radio, TV, internet or telephone for a whole 12 days. No Skates to annoy or be annoyed by either. Just sun, sea and good food as well as total seclusion. I am hoping on my return to read that they have lost their manager, a transfer embargo is in place and their new owners are pulling their hair out now they have realised they have been sold a pup. As for my beloved Saints I have no worries for the club is in the very safe hands of the highly respected and trustworthy Mr Cortese. Whatever he does will always be in the best interest of the Saints. All the usual people who like to insult me can go ahead and do so for I will not be here to read their comments. I will be in paradise. Unlike the Muslim Martyrs there will be no virgins for me but I will have the lovely Mrs Godders for company.
A quiet and quite remote part of Turkey where I plan to meet up with some old friends most of whom are Geordies and some old Turkish friends. I have a big pile of books to read and my cossie so it will be eating, reading, swimming, sailing and chatting.
If you're going anywhere within travelling distance of Antalya, take your golf bats and get on Faldo's Cornelia course. Simply awesome.... Enjoy anyway!
Yeah thanks for the update on your private life. It's great to hear you are going on holiday. Do you have a twitter account so we can continue to be updated on your private life whilst you are on holiday? I am not sure I can last two weeks without a further update. Your private life is of great importance to me. I think it is vital that on a "Southampton FC" message board we start entire threads to update everyone else of what we are doing.
Pray tell me what else there is to talk about at this time. You might like to start a thread of your own which might have us engrossed in some aspect of your in depth opinion on football at this time.
Whilst wishing you a great holiday a couple fo things slightly worry me about your posts Godders. Number 1; "cossie" is too girly a word to use on a football forum and number 2; you hope Clotterell is no longer managing the Skates. Surely we want this clown still in charge..........
Jen, there you go again with the personal insults. I read your post yesterday which stated that most normal people worked a 60 hour week, now forgive me if I am wrong but the EU time directive states that you should not work over a 47 hour week. I would imagine most people who post regularly on here work no more then a 37 hour week (if at all) in a cosy office. Too cosy by the amount of some posts from some individuals. Regarding The thread: My point is a serious one. A twitter account would be place to post this information. As for popularity, I don' not seek that on a online forum and if you do well that possibly says a little more about you then me. I wish to discuss Southampton FC with the occasional twist or fun idea. I thought that was what we had signed up for.
my brother works 12 hour days. i work 50 hour weeks during the summer some of us actually work hard as for popularity, i dont seek to be 'popular' online, i just dont go out of my way to be rude, arrogant and to insult people for no reason. its not just me that has noticed it, going on the comments of several other posters. id sure as hell rather listen to St Godders' holiday plans, than listen to anything that comes out of your trap. you could have been mature and just read this thread and moved on, but you took time out of your day to reply with a rude and sarcastic post, which is extremely pathetic and compeltely unnecessary.
Actually Dyslexic.......I don't see Jens remarks any worse than your criticism of St godders posting quite frankly.Your remarks were just as personal. Strewth do not let it be known that I should be seen to be defending St Godders and his right to post a thread about his personal life. If it was of no interest to you why did you need to read it let alone comment on it? I think your statement to Jen was a little bit of the kettle calling the pot black me thinks. In my opinion there are too many threads started pushing down interesting a rellevant one's down. Hence the point. I don't have time to sift through all these posts like these part time students. Calling one name’s shows a lack of intelligence and imagination. My "insults" as you call them have been structured, clever and a joy to read.
