One has to laugh at other fans considering most of their clubs have gone through enough mangers during a long period we only had Dave Jones and Malky. Without Tan we would not have been promoted but he has got no credit at all. So many saying he knows nothing about football, well he walked out of the Southampton game so he certainly knew that was not football. jck
No disrespect to you guys, but Steve Bruce wouldn't leave Hull City for Cardiff.. Hull chairman Allam is as daft as a brush, but not as barking as whats-his-face.
The owner walked out because his team was losing - sums him up basically? Malky's a good man and deserved better (as do you guys). I would not trust this Tan bloke as far as I could throw him - as I understand it the majority of the cash he's put in are loans
Tough on Malky and sad for those Cardiff fans keen to see him keep his job. Not much room for sentiment left in modern football though, and you never know – could be an inspired move by the chairman, despite him handling it very badly. You only have to see how it has taken Southampton on to the next level against many peoples better judgement. At my club NUFC Mike Ashley has behaved as poorly and more in his sacking of Chris Hughton, the appointment of Joe Kinnear etc etc. He really has and continues to treat the fans up there with contempt at every opportunity. So it isn't just the foreign owners coming in and making poor choices! At least if Tan gets his man you might see him invest heavily in talented players, which is the name of the game these days. Best of luck
Bloody right. The one man Tan adoration band. Sycophantic forelock tugging. Self righteous, pious, sanctimonious drivel.
Strange why people want ole gunner as manager, i can tell you now that ole is a check book manager and his success is because he is backed by one of the most wealthy blokes in Norway. If you had him IMO it would be a disaster. Winning the league and cup in Norway is nothing special with the ability to out spend other teams ,the level is L 1 at best so to put him in charge of a struggling team with the off field problems they have would be a massive gambe by ole and cardiff. Personally i think ole gunner will not risk his fledgling reputation and take that gamble at Cardiff, there will be safer jobs on the horizon
**** me, before he came NUFC were doomed, I don't blame him for treating you with contempt, he comes in, saves your club from the bankruptcy the previous regimes profligacy had nearly caused and been given nothing but abuse for it. I can see the Cardiff fans point of view to a certain extent, but the truth is without the Tans, Allams and Ashleys your clubs would be totally ****ed. West Ham fans weren't too happy with our chairmens decisions but we knwo the other side of the coin and are grateful for what they have done by saving our club from the hole we were facing, I think you lot should do the same, lets face it do you really think Malkay would've stayed when a bigger club came a knocking? I don;t, there's not many Laudrups left in the game.
A ex Malaysian footballer. Previously coach of the Bayern Munich under 19s. Guidolin 4th fav. Which if appointed would make the caller who came across on 5 live the other night as a right plank as correct.
tis a worry. can't imagine the process taking long, just don't fancy any of the front runners. OGS has no experience in any of the big leagues and I hope to **** it isn't Sven.
Yılmaz Vural has claimed that he held talks with Cardiff City and even discussed contract details with club. "We even held talks regarding how much I would be earning," Vural said speaking to Ankara Gazeteciler Cemiyeti. "There are contrasting views on the board at Cardiff City and we were unable to reach a final agreement as they are concerned about a backlash from the fans." "Cardiff City's manager got the team promoted, this is a complicated situation." Mackay was expected to be sacked last week however, City backed down from parting ways with the Scottish manager and club chairman Mehmet Dalman revealed that the 41-year-old would be in charge for the time being. “I’m not taking sides in this, I’m just trying to do my best for the good of the club. Let’s see if we can fix it. We can’t keep having the club under a cloud, so this is it," Dalman said. "We managed to get two or three months leeway last time and we need to create something similar again. I’m not putting a timescale upon this, but we have to try.” Vural is a controversial figure in Turkish football, the experienced manager has coached 22 clubs and is renowned for his touchline antics. The 60-year-old has also been linked with Portsmouth, Sheffield United and Wigan. -
If TAn reckons Malky brought out the dirty laundry, then the Turk is doing it before he's even got the job. It's got to be OGS for me.
One can only think that the wrong man has left - important game for you now against Sunderland He's fat He's vile He'll sack you Gangnam Style Vincent Tan Vincent Tan!
Very unlikely Phil No work permit so any association with the club went a week or so ago. Keep up please.
