Lads time to unite as a fan base I think We all have our differences and views and I respect them all in a way No offence is taken by me on any name calling etc ... its passion and i love it if only we could unite it all to drive our team to our goal We are the scalp everyone wants as we have money and a bright future Who is to blame IMO? ... No one at our club in the long term We have grown now at a footballing culture to listen to the pundits who stir things up in the media. Someone has to lose if there is a winner We have a solid side now from the recents ones and control most of the matches we are in ... Lads that is a good position to be in. This team will bounce back and I cannot see any implosion anytime soon Our job to remain united as a fan base, take stock and push our team through to its final goal ... promotion back to the top flight Win or lose I call for a united front or we will very quickly fall into the likes of other fans who are never satisfied ... that is a dark place lads ask my Arsenal mates We are route to become West London ... dream of that day
We're well united on here, we all agree last night and Saturday were crap and that this has been coming all season, the luck has run out...
Good rallying call DT. I've not actually read the other threads yet and I might not do so since it is not hard to guess who will be saying what! I decided to just chalk it off as a(nother) bad day and hope that we can get something from Watford. Being third in the table is surely too early to start talking doom and gloom? If the losing streak continues and we slide, then fair enough but I believe Harry must reinforce the attack in January.
I like your style DT, agree no point going into one over couple of defeats, but the manor in which we got beat last night is a worry no fight especially in first half & couldn't believe what i was watching, got nothing & deserved nothing, badly missed barton & thats saying something & listening to harry saying we are not as good as some people make out & thats very true, hope this is our blip & we make an statement of intent in the coming weeks/months.
Well said Oddball The team have just got to learn (as we do)...no one owes us anything. We need to do it ourselves....both on the pitch and as a fan So starting here and now If it is too easy, it is not worth having Come on u RRRS, 2014 is our year (PS Bring back Hitchcock!)
Nice one Dave great post. The one thing that keeps me off this board is the bickering and the "I told you so" mentality. However we already have a number of fans that it will never be good enough for, I understand that people have opinions and different views but why so blinkered to others is beyond me. Finally keep up the good posts Dave as posters that have already replied and myself really appreciate your efforts.
Quite right, DT. Personally, I try to not post when I am really pissed off (after yesterday's game) or even more so when I am pissed off and have been enjoying an ale or five (after yesterday's game).
We have to be careful not open ourselves up to be criticised for arrogance (again!). There have been many sensible posts across the threads, some making passionate arguments about what they believe is wrong at present and other not losing hope just yet. Let's just make sure we keep our feet on the ground and take the knocks on the chin. We do not have any sort of right to 'walk the league' (although I'v read that on here more from other teams' fans than our own - the West Ham fella, FT and another one or two) and trust that TF and Harry will sort the lack of strike power out in January. Talking of which, how frustrating to watch our 'loanee' scoring for fun for Newcastle!!!!!!!
Would it be fair to say that our targets for the transfer window have already been identified, approaches made to their clubs etc? If so we should be doing our business within the first week of the window? Listening to KB post match he suggests we need a proven goal scorer, sounds like another golden oldie may be brought in as I can't imagine we can attract someone of that ilk in the prime of their life? I am fully behind the club, always been the case no matter who was at the helm, but I do enjoy a debate......My new years resolution will be to keep personal comments in check! Happy 2014 DT
I would love to see that. Get them in quick with games under their belts. No last minute 'Arry through the car window' moments!
I am still confident that HR is up for the job. To change manager at this time of the season or later would be the worst thing. I agree with Beth that Hitchcock shoud be back here ASAP even if he is used from the bench.
