Maakirr has yet to win a race but I have a feeling today is enclosure day 5/2has been available and the drop back in trip may well help

Not seen the race so has anyone got any feedback to give re: Moyle Park?

Looked like he hated the ground to me - didn't quicken when asked, just stayed on at the one pace. I wonder if Mullins has a bug in the yard - he is in shocking form at the moment, lots of his big names turned over last 2 days.

Dissapointed in Willie Mullins he should have left his best novice hurdler Sizing Tennessee in the future champs race he would have smashed that field..he does like to keep us guessing though we might not see him until Cheltenham again knowing Willie!

Very sad to see Sprinter Sacre pulled up - he looks OK though, trotting with Geraghty still on board. Can only imagine Geraghty felt something wasn't quite right with him?

Pulled up after the 2nd fence down the back straight. Nothing obvious, I assume Geraghty just wasn't getting a good feel off him and wanted to spare him a hard race on soft ground

He only had a treble yesterday I wouldn't be pressing the panic button just yet. His bumper horse today will win also.

First impression before interview is that the horse did not pop over as he usually does and I suspect BG sensed that this was not the race to be in for his first comeback in such bad ground and that his season could be compromised by giving him a hard race to win. Good decision but should have been made before starting out. I suspect something else may be offered but that's how it looked to the eye.

Your right the forecast will be crap but i was thinking if Sire De Grugy isn't the horse to finish second then the odds on the remaining horses are 25/1, 50/1, 66/1 & 100/1 respectively so it might be worth going ew on them and hoping one of the grabs second. At the odds, you should make a profit, a small one anyway, on 3 of the 4 remaining horses. The bet will go tits up if Sire De Grugy gets second, in which case i'd get **** all or if the 25/1 shot got 2nd and i'd make a small loss but still get something back. I might think on it some more, as i'm writing this there's a lot of IF's and BUT's to consider so might not be worth it!

Worked out well 50/1 2nd!

Happy New Year isn't it? He was eyecatching last time out.

I really like Ma Filleule in the 3 miler. Ran on ground that she didn't like at Cheltenham (NH quoted as saying he wanted rain the evening before) and has been dropped down the handicap as result. She now gets soft ground and is going to be fitter for the run. She is a nice horse who looks every inch a chaser... She is well weighted on hurdles form and I think she can go well today. 9/1

Shout Nass, battled back really well at the end there Ma Filleule
