Why also is he looking at a Liverpool player (age 31), that cannot break into the Liverpool squad? Just hoping that was a bluff to throw a smokescreen over who he is actually after as we need fresh young talent no more has beens! Our squad is wafer thin and no way are we going to be able to compete in both the Europa League and the Premier league. I would like to see a proper transfer window this time and some talented young players being brought in and not last minute panic buys. Also why is he not clearing out the deadwood? I hear some of the second string, (deadwood) are being offered new contracts? If Diao and Sidibe are named in the 25 man squad for next season that proves to me that Tone's 3 year plan is bullshit! Season ticket already bought and paid for and looking foward to watching some proper football next season (hopefully)!
I'm with you 100% Waddo couldn't agree more. surly player's like Jerome and a few others I could mention, we should be aiming for better quality player's. Here's hoping that finally we can sign at least three very good one's. Get it done T.P. now, not three days before the deadline, please...
I said when we qualified for Europe that we needed to start our transfer dealings early, so I thought we'd have to have 3 or 4 players in by the time our European campaign started, but I just get the feeling Pulis will play the summer like he usually does, which is look to get in 1 or 2 by the start of the Premier League season, then try and get 3 or 4 in the last week or 2 of the transfer window. There are a couple of out of contract players we have reportedly tried to get, one Bradley Johnson has rejected us according to a few football sites, for Norwich and the other is Seb Larsson, who according to the Sky Sports website we have offered a contract to as well as Sunderland, Blackburn and a couple others. I'm not expecting Larsson to sign, even though I think he'd be fantastic backup to Jermaine, as he will probably want to sign for Sunderland where he may get more first team opportunities and also Bruce signed him for Birmingham. We may get 1 or 2 signings we'd be happy with but I get the feeling we'll end up with the Jerome's and Carlton Cole's of this world.
WHY does he have to wait until the last week?. Every day players are being snapped up and reduces the range of choice we have. Pulis you must have an idea who youre after just put a freaking offer in!!.........tantrum over now and feeling much better.
Thing is we left it until the last minute again last season then had a poor run first few games because the players had not had enough time to gel. Come on TP get your thumb from up yer ass!
