The league has tightened up after yesterday's results! So we can all agree on 3pts is a must?

    Yes.

The lack of players to bring in is a concern. Fine if we want to swop the CB's or bring Rosy in at RB. But midfield and forwards and we are struggling to freshen it up. If Roko keeps his place, then theres only Boyd to come on with a bit of quality.
Saying that I would like Gedo to come on and inject a bit of pace into the game.

I think it's safe to say after Bruce's recent comments that Gedo will not feature again (with the exception of injuries to Graham, Sagbo or Fryatt)

This is now a huge game - the relegation zone has almost caught up with us, with Chelsea and Liverpool both in a row after Fulham. We need to create some space again, or we could find ourselves in the bottom 3 during January, which won't be great for morale or signings.

If he plays 352 again, which I think he will I'm not sure who he will drop. I guess Rosie is an option to come in, likewise Boyd. Not really sure who else. If it was me, I'd play the following

    Harper
    Elmo
    Rosie
    Bruce
    Chester
    Davies
    Thudd
    Livermore
    Koren
    Sagbo
    Boyd

If Meyler is ok, swap with Koren
I'd also consider Fryatt for a game, at the expense of Boyd

Sagbos turning into a bit of a favourite! If he puts another good shift in tomorrow with only one days recovery! I'll be impressed.

Boyd played well when he came on yesterday and it wouldn't surprise me if he started tomorrow.

Yeah Boyd was great, I'd start him. Bruce is injured I believe?

    Harper/McGregor
    Chester - Davies - McShane
    Elmo Figeuroa
    Livermore - Huddlestone - Boyd
    Fryatt/Gedo - Sagbo

Still can't understand the excitement about Sagbo, controls the ball well out-wide but is **** in the box, thats when he's in the box, which isn't often. He never challenges for headers from crosses and is normally behind his marker when the ball arrives. He a striker for gods sake, he needs to be scoring not impressing with a lot of running.

3 points would take the pressure off the Liverpool and Chelsea games coming up, especially with the bottom half becoming much closer.

So many 6-pointers tomorrow.. a couple of draws for the teams around us and us winning would be mighty good.

If Bruce and Meyler are out, we don't really have a natural CM to bring in therefore I'd change formation.(I dont class Koren as a CM since he gives it away every other touch and doesn't move much).

    ---------McG/Harper

    Rosie Chester Davies Figgy

    Elmo Livermore Hudd Boyd

    Sagbo Graham/Fryatt/Gedo

Greengrocer, yer I suppose so, thats why this board is so good. But watch against Fulham, I hope he proves you right and me wrong. I won't be betting on it though.

After winning at Narich Fulham will be up for it tomorrow. This will be a real test of our mettle.

I'm more worried about the loss of MacGregor than I am of Meyler/Bruce for the Fulham game.

Sagbo's not good enough, though he may come good in time. Some of his runs off the ball lack that of an instinctive finisher. However we need a proven goal scorer now.

Nice to see a knowledgable board with fans that understands the game and their team! You were very unlucky against Utd, played some decent football and deserved at least a point.

I've got a cheeky bet on Fulham tomorrow at a massive 3/1. I'd settle for a point though. I can see a high scoring thriller on the cards. I reckon Huddlestone will finally come good and put away a 25yd screamer. That'll be just our luck as we should have signed him at least twice over the past 3 seasons, but couldn't agree a price with Spurs.

Good luck for the rest of the season (but not tomorrow), I reckon you'll stay up come the end I the season.
