I like the cushion of 6 points we are sitting on...Stoke would have to get 2 wins and a draw whilst we lost 3 games (wash my mouth out with soap) to jump over us and the next side would need 3 wins. Our defence is still good...equal to Arsenal and Chelsea and one worse than Everton (and that will be sorted out at the weekend ).
Usually a side gets 'picked off' and isolated from the pack (for example, Wolves in their relegation season; Reading and QPR last season) but there's no sign of that so far. It looked as if it might happen to Palace but Pulis really has got them fighting for their lives, while yesterday's result suggests that Sunderland are not a hopeless case yet either. As you say, any three of eleven teams could go at the moment. This is one weird season so far. There are no mid-table teams other than Southampton (and possibly Tottenham). _______________________________________________- Taken from the Norwich board. But I must say, I agree. 9th is ours for some time yet!
Just looked at the gallery on OS...no one looks happier or more relieved when JRod scored than Lallana. The kind of joy you show when your mother is dragged from a burning building. Also love the shot of Gazza lying on his back clutching the ball with the whole team looking down going 'Oh boy, he's got it' and Fonte in the background applauding because he'd done his best to test him (as Jos's understudy).
http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/10900516.Schneiderlin_to_miss_Everton_trip/ It says that Dani Osvaldo is available after Saints appealed his violent conduct charge, haven't seen that posted anywhere else?
I couldn't believe how much space Rickie was allowed for his goal yesterday. He must have thought he was back in the Championship.
Knock it up is not the attitude we require....we want a carefully constructed piece designed to ensure the team's success. Honestly...the youth of today!
It`s a shame we put the final nail in his coffin. He`s a good manager, and he`ll be a success elsewhere -I`d be increasingly concerned if I were a Cardiff fan right now.
