Morning all, life back to normal again today, no Boxing Day holiday here. Today we have an extra minute of daylight, so summer is on it's way. :emoticon-0100-smile:

Morning all - traditional left-overs day today, but all I can find in the larder is Xmax cake, a few mince pies and some of my home made truffles. Looks like a visit to Tescos on the cards later...:(

Am warming up for the Lions match by watching Sydney vs Brisbane Roar on the gogglebox. Two goals in a minute have put the Roar in command after an early set back- normal service has returned...

Morning all from a bright and sunny bandit country. Little Miss W_Y has just been picked up for work, no trains today so they sent a car, complete with ham sandwiches, Tunis cake and shortbread - got to have some proper Boxing Day grub.
Good opportunity today to restart our season, the sarf Lundun mockneys are struggling more than us and with the crowd baying for their manager, they will be tense. I have decided it give today a miss, I need a day to relax as I am working tomorrow. So will be following the game on 3CR and Sky.

Really very strange. I suppose he will want a friendly game arranged in mid-season.

Reading between the lines I suspect that MM is attempting to get the fans on his side. Carefully worded statement about people expressing their opinions. I will be surprised if he doesn't get an offer from elsewhere and jumps ship before too long. He should be more careful about picking owners.

Belated Christmas greetings from MK hospital- tried to post yesterdy but had dongle trouble (not why I'm in here, heh heh!).
I've had a bit of a journey, been in some admission wards like war zones / retreat from Saigon just before Christmas. Now in the Phoenix Unit for specialist rehab physio to really work on a) getting me safe to go home b) really work on what I can do with my legs and improve my quality of life in general.

Hoping that Phoenix is an omen for the 'Orns too. After 57 mins it's looking promising! COYH!!!!

I think Malky could be in trouble - half an hour in and losing 0-3 to Soton. Tan-ning his hide really....

Watched Forest v QPR tonight. Forest 2nd goal was one of those times when everybody stops because the player is so far offside. Not a yard or so, but at least five. The ref spoke to the lino who could see nothing wrong. He should pop down town first thing and get his eyes checked out.

Chalobah spent the first hour of the game bench warming. When he came on he seemed to be lost in the system that Forest play. Loads of long balls forward and willing runners seemed to bypass him. Didn't look half the player he did with us.

QPR created few chances and like Forest seemed to rely on many long hopeful punts up field. They could be lucky or the opposite against any team.

Morning all from a calm, dry, chilly Weston-super-Mare. I'm not sure if we got much of the storm during the night, it certainly didn't wake me!

    Have a good day! <ok>

Morning all from a very blustery bandit country after a very stormy night - it's beginning to feel like one of those disaster movies and I'm waiting for Bruce Willis in his wife-beater vest to trump up any minute. Working from home today, but have the family round for a roast beef lunch later, so another busy day.
Good to see Mr Integrity beginning to lose it yesterday.

Morning all from a calm but cloudy rural France. The sun trying to break through, but it is very mild for the time of year. Up in the northwest another 2,000 homes lost their electricity supplies overnight and more flooding in parts. The rivers in this area are very swollen, but none have burst their banks.

I see that all the same names are on the Millwall manager wish list, including Aidy, Colin and Hollowhead. Probably finish up with Dowie as he must write a very good cv. ;)
