Before the game I would have taken a draw what with the players we have out. But you didn't look yourselves at all today, you didn't hurry us at all which made the game far too easy.

I have watched you play a few times this season and you looked a good team. Shame about all the **** off the pitch I guess that doesn't help.

All the best to you for the rest of the season apart from when we play again. <ok>

Thought a draw was on pre match if we could contain your front men. (Wishful thinking)
Off the field we are at that point you faced with Atkins departure against many fans wishes. Worked out well for you in the end. I like the honesty of Malky but he's walking a tightrope and Tan is shaking it. Survival is our target.

Well that turned out to be a lot easier than was expected. Lallana and Rodriguez are very formidable together and Rickie was back to who we know and love.

Schneiderlin's yellow was harsh for me, he was running across him not trying to trip him!

Gazzaniga did better than I thought he would, but we still need to loan him out as soon as possible to gain experience. Yoshida is average, and below our level. Everyone else was fantastic. Steven Davis has really stepped up this season, him Morgan and cork as a three look so solid and give Adam a chance to be completely scintillatingly brilliant yet again

To be honest I'd rather Morgan missed the Everton game than the Chelsea game. We have a better chance of a positive result at home to Chelsea and Morgan will be nice and fresh for it.

Saying that, if Sunderland can beat them, well.....

Presume JWP will come back into the starting 11 with Morgs out.

That was surprisingly dull for a 3-0 away win. Cardiff really made it easy for us.

Have to say, after watching MOTD that our first goal should have been given off-side. The long pass was clearly so and I was surprised that no mention was made. No time because of the full programme, I guess.

Eh? Lallana was well onside. Rodriguez might have been in an offside position at that point but he wasn't anywhere near the ball.

Yeah offside a few years ago but not on current rules. Ball was played to an onside player and Rodriguez was not affecting play at that point. Rodriguez was then onside when he did affect play. Cortese's prediction may well be another one we have to tip our hat's to :)

Good win, but I don't think our performance was any better or worse than recent games. Just a little more fortune in defense.
Good stuff from the midfield three who were all confident and impressive in possession and backed there ability to play out of difficult situations.

No. Lallana was onside when the ball was played and Rodriguez, although in an offside position, was not active. When Lallana played the ball Rodriguez was onside as he was behind Lallana.

Oh come now........West Ham fans have to deal with far worse every blinking weekend! <laugh>
(as far as emphatic wins go, it was rather dull!)

Well while we were leisurely strolling around the pitch for an hour, Everton were bashing their heads against Sunderland with 10 men. Hope they play some more backpasses on Sunday.

Hopefully they will feel jaded and we will have Dejan back.

I agree with this. We have kept playing our game...we could easily have beaten Spurs and Villa...the latter deservedly and Spurs by not donating goals. Our game hasn't fallen apart and is still effective. I cannot argue with our league position either. We might reasonably hope to emulate Newcastle, Spurs and Everton, but there are no teams above us that don't deserve to be there. Ninth is about right...if we pull up by one or two places by the end of the season we will have done well.
