Well I didn't know what happened at Newcastle until now but that cheered me up. That was more comical than us.
I thought that Stoke were wronged personally and that the referee's ( Atkinson ) decisions displayed everything that is wrong today with football. Whelan's was never a sending off and I'm not too sure Wilson's was either..... As wasn't Barton's against Norwich two seasons ago or against Lyecester last week. If you give away a penalty.. Why get a red card as well? A penalty should be enough or even an in-direct free-kick. Whatever happened to them? To reduce a side to nine men for something so innocuous ruins the game. Football has become a joke.
I have no feelings for him either way Queens. But let by gones be by gones and all that. I can't be wasting my time and energy on hating or disliking someone who means nothing to me any more. But then I guess I'm just old fashioned like that.

The 1st one was a bit like Bartons, the 1st yellow was correct as he booted the ball away. For the 2nd the bloke made a massive meal of it but you dont go in from behind and give the ref a chance to send you off. The 2nd is 100% correct, its a red all day but I agree with you that the rules should be changed so its just a penalty and that not every foul should be a yellow. Its another plus for a sin bin, a ref cant ruin a game of football over something like that.
