Not crying. I am upset that a massive team like MU have to resort to diving and kicking (rooney did both btw) to win a football match against a small team like Hull City.

Charlton (in the crowd) was shaking his head many times (probably embarassed). Best would never go down despite being kicked all around the ground.

Are you guys happy to win at any cost?

Very grown up changing my username. Also, why do still idolise a player who decided he wanted to go to a bigger team than yours.

Pretty much every team United play against are willing to try and con the ref, so realistically United would be disadvantaging themselves if they didn't do the same. The truth is nobody likes diving, but until the governing bodies decide to crack down on it across the board every team is going to continue doing it because the punishment for diving just simply doesn't stack up to the advantage gained from winning the free kick if the ref falls for it.

The big advantage utd have over other clubs is that their diving antics aren't highlighted by the utd loving press because of the possible threat of being banned from utd press conferences, maybe the governing bodies could take a look at that also.

What a sack of absolute ****e. Young, nani have always been clobbered and now jumanji. Prior too ronnie was, though having seen the treatment he'd get clobbered by defenders who'd get away with blatant fouls unseen.

This bearing in mind your star player goes down like there is a sniper in the ground. Torres used to go down easily as did mcmanaman. Skillful players always do. Because they get roughed up the whole game.

Jeez sweats sorry to wake you up.<laugh>

Back on topic, why is it seen as justifiable when utd players dive, but when players from other clubs do it its a crime against footy?

That's bollocks. Best, Pele, Cruyff, Eusubio never used to. Messi doesn't go down either.
Great players don't cheat. Unfortunately, the game is ruined by money. £200,000 a week FFS for whinging for 90 minutes. The game is ruined!!

Messi doesn't go down? Hmm, seems pointless even debating this any further if that's your opinion.

An orangutan is a hominid (great ape). Hominids are primates, but technically not monkeys. So sarcastic monkey is very wrong

A monkey is smaller in size and weight. An orangutan is much larger and has more weight on it.

You're talking bollocks. It was a different game back then. Christ the ball used back then would probably give the pansies that play the game now concussion.

I started watching football in the early 80's the game is totally different now to then let alone the 50' & 60's

I can remember sitting in the east stand watch ronnie get hacked to bits with nothing given then he'd get one when he went down easily. Did the 5 hacks get reported? No the one he won would.

It's bollocks. The current best players and the one preceding them since about 94 all do it. I'm not saying I agree with it, but unless we want to watch games with the defenders getting banned for all the **** tackles and cheeky elbows then we have to accept it for what it is.

You really can't have been paying attention if you think he gets paid 200k to whinge.

We scored three, he had a hand in them all. That's where the wages come in.

It's like saying Suarez has just been given a new 200k a week contract to be a ****.

Yes, he's a ****, but I think you'll find the money is for the goals he scores.
