You have to wonder why he's here? On ability surely Laudrup would have him playing regularly. He mustn't like the lad as a person which could mean he's attainable permanently. Up to us to stay up and then let him know we'll build a team round him.
I do agree that it seems odd that Laudrup, and the Swans fans on this forum, don't rate the lad. He is far better than De Guzman, I think it's a case of he took a while to settle, I understand he had a bit of a fit about a lack of game time as well, which probably alienated him from the manager a bit. He looks popular with the other lads here, we the fans like him, so it could be that Swans are better to move him on, and he's a massive asset here. I tell you what, I really wonder where we'd be without him, he does seem to influence everything going forward at the minute. 13 goals in 18 is the only thing worrying me tonight, if we can get Fletch scoring, or sold and replaced with a goalscorer, we will stroll out of this ****. No matter how tidy the defense is, if we can't get goals, we are snookered.
Mate, I've never believed we were gonna go until the Norwich game, I walked out thinking we were ****ed. It's so typically SAFC to go to the next game & toy with me again, but I'm certain we are too good to go, there are 6 or 7 worse teams at least. Cardiff is a massive opportunity at the right time, whereas usually with us, we hit teams just as they come into form, or have a stack of injured players return, or some ****. We will get out of this, I'm so sure of this.
Just watched it because I wasn't sure ......... the defender puts his arm across him which is a penalty, soft but a definite penalty. Never mind, it's a totally deserved 3 points
To think many, and I was very much one of them, were downright annoyed with the signing of Vito.... Soz mate
Why you say that? I'd suggest that my comment is fairly stable, I thought he was a joke signing, & am crediting him for proving me wrong.
There was no way any ref would give us two pens in one game after sending the opposition keeper off. Piennar could have hoyed celustka awa his lap and had his way with him and he'd have booked Celustka for faking it.
Very true unfortunately. It was a clear pen but I guess it's too much to ask for a ref to have a pair of balls. At least it's nice to know that Celustka's not a whinger he didn't seem to react at all despite being denied a stonewall penalty. Most players would have been in the ref's face until they got carded (looking at you Larsson)
This. 2 penalties against the (top 6) home side, when they were already down to 10 men, it was never going to happen.
