Well, I said at the start of the season that the primary goal was to be in contention into the New Year, which Redknapp has just about managed, then hope Fernandes gets his cheque book out to provide the impetus for a promotion charge. But you can't escape the feeling that the Rs should've been in a much stronger position now. I do wish the commentator would stop referring to QPR as having a 'Premier League squad'. If that was true these players would be in the Premier League; they're not.
We've had some absolute shocking officials this season. The only bit of luck we've had is the penalty shout that Sheffield Wednesday lost out on in August. Since then we've had awful decisions.
Burnley, Leicester and now Nottingham have shown something we realy lack - passion. We may have the most gifted players in our squad but we certainly do not have many players caring about our club giving everything for 90 minutes. As I said before just a bunch of mercenaries we do have here exactly the same type of players we recently had in the PL. Having lost to all the big teams up the table we should just admit that we are not good enough yet to deserve direct promotion.
The only way the ref cocks up there is if that player touched it, or if he was in an offside position when the ball was played and of course prevented our player from getting to it. I think the ref got it right.
We've had far too many shyte performances this season that produced so many lucky wins, the luck seems to have run out and we're being shown up as, at best, an average side...
Wow, when we go behind first we really do struggle. Thankfully this has taken place before January but this was a shocking performance. Never looked like scoring.
Got what we deserved. Not sure their keeper had to make a decent save apart from Carroll's deflection. None of ours look like scoring
Wow. Well, what a pile of tosh that was. Barely a shot on goal, no striker, spineless in midfield and completely out of shape. Even with another mugging by more terrible referees. The look on the assistants face at the end of the game is a picture. Guilty as sin. Gonna bury my face in a tub of celebrations. Bollox.
Col agree - if 'everyone' can look at the starting line up and predict the first half that we got - why can't Arry?
And I wish players/supporters/commentators/pundits would stop ranting about how good our squad is. We can barely score!! Come on Tone, get Taarabt back and one other decent striker. U won't regret it!!!!!
Well at least good on Charlie Austin, up there in the stands, watching our horrible effort, along with our faithful supporters who made the trip to watch this dross. After that 2nd goal we totally stopped competing for the ball. Harry really needs to shake things up.
Have to say I struggle to see what Carroll brings to a Championship team. He may do better in a premiership team, but he gives us no advantage whatsoever from what I see. With Kyle Walker and Townsend I saw much more desire, skill and ability - just don't have the 'loving' for Carroll in the team!
I said the record clean sheet run wont carry on and we will plummet down the table, if we got a 0-0 virtually everyone would have been happy if we played like that. I dont like redknapp, I never wanted him here and hes being shown up for what he is, a dinosaur out of ideas who always waits until we are at least a goal down to rectify mistakes at HT. The best thing for us is for him to leave for a PL job in the window. Zamora and Henry FFS.
We can see how how poor we are, Arry knows how poor we are. Wake up Tony and smell the coffee - the way we're playing we wont go up and no we dont need any more pkayers - its the system and poor motivation to blame
