i don't give a **** anymore that was a horrific display from a very misshapen team trying to play a very found out tactic (there are only so many times a long ball/goal kick will catch the last defender out for Campbell) Why are we playing the likes of odemwingie, taylor or whittingham??? none of these players have made a worth while contribution yet they get to start week in week out. i think we finally looked like the dangerous ball on ground team we can be when kim came on but it was all over by then. ****ing embaressing p.s you "malky has farts made out of roses" people don't bother posting because I will not bite. trolls are boring
Ask the Manager, He creates this garbage every week. Lets hope our next manager utilises what we have !!!
id rather ask tan why he didn't sack malky before this match... surely having no manager couldn't have been worse than that!!!
The problem now is: Malky has set up a team to defend for 38 matches and we can't even do that. So, where do we go from there? We haven't signed the players to have a more attacking approach. I feel really sorry for Frazier Campbell - he would do really well in a side that created chances, and where he didn't have to do the running for five people. Oh ...... and on what we've seen so far - who thinks Cornelius is £8 million better than Rudy Gestede?
completely agree about Frazier Campbell and regarding Cornelius, atleast Gestede made impact when he was played as a impact sub. I think we have the ball players to play aggressive counter-attacking football but if we keep sitting back like we do and lofting long balls up the pitch only to see them controlled and played back into the opponents possession I ear the worst for this season. We need to keep the ball on the ground that is where we see most comfortable. A couple of grounded balls through the middle for Frazier to turn his defender and get on the end of wouldn't hurt either.
The team that finished the game would have lost as well. 442 was never going to work against Southampton. Particularly when Gunner who is completely out of his depth is in the middle. Match lost when he chose that system and that selection.
somebody has been smoking the whacky backy. you have useless half beats WALKING around the pitch like whittingham, taylor and odemwingie and you want to point the finger at gunnarson? lol..he may be out of his depth but we have much more worse problems to deal with...unfortunately it takes malky like 80 minutes of every match to resolve the issue.
I can't defend any of the 3 players mentioned in the op. I also don't think 4-4-2 was the way forward today but all the issues were down our left. Taylor has no pace and needs cover. Witts is ****. No pace, commitment or energy. Doesn't want the ball or work to make/find space. His set piece delivery was ok, nothing more. He 'covers' players when defending by standing 5 yards in front of them. You cannot give PL players 5 yards.
Well this is what I was trying to say before this game. We might see things the way they are on the pitch but god knows what some of these people posting are seeing. I am afraid I will add turner to the list who has not been solid in defence as 6 goals conceded in two games shows. Hudson should get his chance. jck
Hudson coming in will mean we dont have a left footed centre half. Weve enough problems on the left as it is.
Tan had better have a turnaround and a big turnaround in not spending a single penny when the window opens as the 2nd half of the season gets much harder thats for sure..
He never said there wasnt any money to spend Dai...................................... He said Malky wont have any money to spend !!!
No we shouldnt throw money at survival. Give some of those not given a chance a go. If we are not good enough we get relegated. Worse places to be than The Championship.
MM got us out of the championship playing boring football, at this level it doesnt work. As for all the 'Blue is the colour' 'Tan Out' 'Dont sack Mackay brigade' Well they should all go into Costa Coffee before the sunderland match and have a good sniff. MM is not good enough at this level. Southampton went through a similar situation and look at them now. Its not the players its the Manager that is the problem.
