We are a poor team in a league with about eight poor teams. We may get lucky again this season and just do enough to stay up. But is this the future? Hanging on to our place and playing dross until eventually the luck runs out and down we go? We have a much better squad on paper but there has been no improvement whatsoever since last season.

Stoke down to 9 men =/ Think this will be Malky last game for Cardiff.

We looked poor after going a goal up, really hope we'll improve in the second half.

We need to come back into this in the second half. The good thing is that we do tend to be better in the second half.

The commentator did note that he used to score a few from distance...when playing for Leeds. Seriously though, if he scores a barnstormer today, I'm going to church on Sunday

We looked pretty poor before going 1 up! I would not be surprised if we threw this game away, it's horrible all over the pitch. Sloppy passing everywhere, from Ruddy right through to the other end.

Really? I thought we started off quite good, set back a lot after going a goal up.

surely we were worse last season, I think we need better/more creative full backs- i'm not that happy with any of them

For me, it has been mostly about the passing. far too many passes going to Fulham. Short passes are generally okay but the longer one's are being cut out just about every time.

And now West Ham are winning. And looking pretty comfortable.

Turner booked, so I'm pretty sure he misses the next game.

I think our problem at the moment is that we can't get hold of central midfield. Fer isn't playing like he can, and Johnson is never going to help you keep possession.

West Ham look very well organised. Fat Sam is the manager Hughton would like to be. Boring and functional and genuinely able to sort out a defence.

I know it's a top 6 place but that is fine. All the sweeter when they dive back down later in the season

Really unimpressed with Fer today, would have rather had Howson playing based on this performance.

The Wolf-man cometh. Come on Ricky!
