Terrible reffing - how many did he let go unpunished? ...he then blew for a few dives, yet continued to not book any of their players. Janujaz or whatever the diving little **** is called - if the FA are fighting to get him signed up for England it shows how **** our national setup is. I'd say overall we created more clear-cut chances and had the ref being more balanced in his officiating, we'd be looking at least a draw. Huddlestone was immense. The annoying thing is, Hull will be full of scrotes in their Man Utd shirts tomorrow going "yay! We beat you! Aren't wr mighty and amazing!"
Did not see all the game (did not realiize it was a 12:45 kickoff) but did see Graham fail to put the header in after a great cross by Sagbo and SB's reaction which said it all for me. Based upon his reaction I do not think that we will see Graham start on Saturday.
you get used to diving about in the premier league, but never seen a team go over with zero contact so many times in one game before..even rooney did it once . ive defended Graham all season but my patience has ran out, talk about on a plate to make yourself a hero.. would like to see the own goal again, but first impression is he wasnt under that much pressure and it was poor.. bruce made some immense tackles worthy of the number 4 shirt, mixed emotions overall, proud of the performance but said before the game we will probably never have a better chance to beat manchester united in the premier league, and we probably will never have as many chances as we did to do it...
Its not worked out for the lad with us but Bruce won't judge him just on that moment, in fact he has improved a lot lately but am thinking now Bruce will be getting another striker in for sure to help Sagbo
I never miss a home game and I've only missed one game at the KC since it opened. I like to think that despite my obvious bias I can maintain a level of impartiality. For example Rooney's finish was stunning. as was some of his off the ball running and passing. But some of the fouls given against us, the diving young Albanian Belgian **** (first four tackles he dived for), Roooney's persistent unpunished dissent are the type of decisions that you never see when we play Newcastle, Palace, Norwich etc It's as if the refs are afraid to give decisions that will impact Man U because of the intense scrutiny that they get, so they bottle the decisions. Despite SAF's retirement, the fear lives on for the refs. Shameful, shameful cowardice from Oliver this afternoon. Expect more of the same at Analfield on NYD. ps 'Grimsby Reds' - how sad is that?
Rooney really got on my nerves too especially after the whistle when he carried on berating the officials, not looking forward to more of his moronic petulance at the World Cup when we have to support the ****er
I only saw it live and no replays but Graham's header looked hard because the cross was behind him, he seemed to be craning his neck back to get anything on it but struggled to get any power as a result. Bruces chance which was the last kick of the game looked like thw worst miss, and the one where De Gea spilt it and we didn't even get a shot off was poor.
That's how I saw it, its impossible to get any power on a floated cross if your moving backwards away from goal. Those that criticise him for missing that chance have obviously never played a game of football their lives!
It's true the ball was too high for Graham to get a decent header, but he had time to bring it down for a volley.
Cheating,diving...frightened referee to death. Just hope they don't finish in top four. City did good today....deserved a point
if youd played football, youd know theres other things to do then tamely head it into the keepers arms...., try and loop it back over across goal, head it back towards a team mate..etc
If you'd have played football, or just understand physics in general, you'd realise how hard it would be for Graham to do that.
Thats the way I saw it. I guess most of us are frustrated with the outcome and not so much Danny Graham, but, thats what those guys get paid the big bucks for. Head it or take it down and shoot all up to the instincts and many a good striker would have taken the wrong route. Waggy on the other hand would have had it down on the ground and scored! Chillo would have had it in the back of the net with his head.
my mistake, i thought a premiership striker would be able to do something from 6 yards out, i stand corrected well done for hitting the target danny, better luck next time.
Sure you did, just like all of the other teams that took points off Watford last season. Always nice to have a Leeds joker visit. Hope the altitude doesn't bother you.
I have never seen a player in the history of the game that people feel so sorry for. COuntless ****ing excuses. Yes it was behind him but then you lob it back across or control it and shoot. It's bullshit. What the **** has he done to deserve such excuses.
