Can I take a few moments of your time please?

On Boxing day this year, I will be taking part in a sponsored swim in the sea at Cromer.
All money raised will go to the Norfolk and Norwich Scope Association.

If anybody would be willing to sponsor me, please could you pm me, and I will let you have details of where to send the money.
Obviously all pms will be treated as confidential <ok>

Photos of me do the deed will be posted shortly after the event <yikes>

Recently a whale was washed ashore at Cromer. On Boxing day, there could well be another one.

If any of you are in the area on Boxing day, please come and say Hi. I will be the one in a Norwich Shirt.

More about NNSA can be found here.

    Many thanks

If it helps I can post the link on twitter - if I'm right you don't have an account on there?
May lead to more sponsorship, certainly help raise awareness of the event taking place <ok>

Cheers CC. Many thanks. Will have to meet up for a 'diet coke' or 5 <ok>

Better be warned mate, there could well be another tidal surge when I hit the water <yikes>

I wouldn't worry too much, there's not much further damage that your Flub can do to our battered sea defences. So much of the cliffs have gone between here and East Runton, it really is hard to fathom. I walked it and took photos yesterday. Heartbreaking, but at least no one around here lost their lives / homes that I know of.
A149 still impassable between Cley and Kelling.

The prom at Sheringham looks like a bomb has hit hit mate. Very sad indeed, but as you say, there has been no loss of lives, that we know of anyway.

Had me lost for words there for a second <laugh>, but I think I´d be more concerned about the water temperature actually :D, and I don´t know about yours, but my parts certainly wouldn´t take the shock. :(

It certainly will be a tad nippy I think.
As long as the waves and tides aren't as big as they have been recently, I'll still be doing it <ok>

Have just been informed that there is a 'fun run' before the swim, and the swim is in fancy dress.

Fun Run....who's stupid idea was it to put those 2 words together
