AL FEROF has the potential to win the King George.
so many dangers though so it is not a race to bet heavily in! Cue Card represents the biggest danger I think

the first 2 races are interesting - I don't know enough about Dubai Prince but I think he can be taken on with VANITEUX who beat a decent field at Sandown a few weeks ago.
in the second race on the card I just tip URBAIN DE SIVOLA to get the better of Ericht.

the Christmas Hurdle is about as close as it gets. I am going to stick with THE NEW ONE though. He will need to win if he has any hope of landing the Champion Hurdle in March.

    anyway cracking days racing <cheers>

I've backed in every race at Kempton too here's mine:

    12:50 - Vaniteux 9/4
    1.25 - Oscar Magic 16/1
2:00 - Just a Par 4/7 (this one I've only done in a 9 horse accumulator with other odds on shots)
    2:35 - Grumeti 20/1
    3:10 - Al Ferof 4/1 & Menorah 18/1
    3:45 - Quaddick Lake 7/1

    SILVINIACO CONTI

Classy, strong traveller, races prominently, rhythmical. He has been aimed at this and will have come on a lot for his Haydock reappearance. He will relish the soft conditions.

    MY TENT OR YOURS

He was built to win a Kempton Christmas hurdle. If he cannot beat The New One here, he never will.

Cheltenham will be different, but this should be Tents day.

Loving the way Cue Card is being opposed for the King George. Now 9/2 with Skybet, which strikes me as tremendous value. This horse continues to be underestimated, and therefore overpriced.

The New One vs MTOY is hopeless as a betting heat imo, but still the most fascinating contest of the day. I'm half hoping The New One gets beat so his price gets pushed out a little for Cheltenham in March. On balance though, he has more in his favour than My Tent, who could easily pull his chances away early in the race.

Looks like a ton of money for Henderson's horse in the opener, Vaniteux which means the price on Dubai Prince is getting sweeter all the time. I was really taken with the Ferguson horse at Leicester and I'll be trying to get a bit of 5/2 before the off <ok>

    EXPANDING UNIVERSE - 2.45 Fontwell (7/1)
Connections confident of good run here now down in class, having slipped to a decent mark and just getting in. Won his bumper (with Weld) in Fairyhouse 'soft' so heavy ground shouldn't be a problem.

Long Run - runs well at Kempton and I think the headgear will make a difference

Backed from 10/1 this morning to 5/1 but shown very little form so far this season.

As for the Christmas Hurdle, would The New One have won by jumping the last tidily?

Neither of those 2 jump well enough to win a Champion Hurdle

That being said. 5/1 looks very big about Our Connor for the champion hurdle

Bad day for Willie Mullins - Analifet, Felix Younger and Champagne Fever all beaten <yikes> although I suppose you have to say Felix Younger was beaten by stablemate The Paparazzi Kid and Analifet pulled up early with a pelvic injury (reportedly NOT life-threatening).

Last roll of the dice for me on Dynaste in the King George

Well done. I was on Cue Card. Unbelievable the way it just totally emptied out. Might stick to the footie bets from now on!
