John Sheridan is trying to complete the signing of a 'very attack-minded' player. He comes from the north east and has been down here training with the squad for the past week, Sheridan was pleased with what he saw. Just a problem regarding if he is a free agent or not...which needs ironing out. He was nearly available for the Bury game......but if the hiccup can be sorted out he could be playing against Oxford.
Rumours starting that it is 18yr old Nathan Thomas...ex Sunderland....confusion regarding is he or isn't he linked with Darlington.....never heard of him and haven't found any info on him as yet. Another 18yr old wannabee......one day we might hit the jack-pot with one of them......remember Paul Mariner came from non-league if my memory serves me right.
Nathan Thomas confirmed until the end of the season......given No19......he is fast and direct.....John Sheridan feels that he has got a goal or two in him.
Tyler Harvey needs to prove to Argyle that they are missing him........until then he needs to get his head down and get on with his loan spell in a lower league,haven't heard that he's doing that yet.
It's the same old crap everytime ain't it. Bit of a word dropped out there for the rumour people to pick up, semi big build up and then the final "who the **** is that?". If I'm honest Sheridan could let a couple go home and not sign anyone new and I wouldn't be that upset at the minute. Form and scoring have become far less of a problem lately.
