My little girl was 3 in August and is fully in the Christmas swing now. Thoroughly excited about Santa coming tonight. My little lad is 9 and said last night to his Mam "I want to go to bed now Mam" (This was at 7pm - normal bed time is 9 during the holidays! My wife said "It's only 7 o' clock" to which he replied "But if I go to sleep now then it'll be Christmas Eve quicker then I can go early tomorrow and Santa will bring me my presents and it'll seem quick" Bless him!! I love Christmas as well Smug I have a fake one inside but mainly as I have 4 dogs and they'd end up pissing against a real one (experience has taught me this!!) BUT I do have a raft of small fir tree's surrounding my front garden with lights on so will he still come to me?
Don't let santa bring any phones.. A young tourist in Australia was so engrossed in Facebook on her mobile phone that she walked off the end of a pier and had to be rescued by police. The woman was on St Kilda's pier in Melbourne when she was spotted falling into the chilly water of St Kilda's Bay by passers-by who called the police. Officers at the shore were able to point out the position of the distressed woman to water police units who rescued her about 20 metres (66ft) from the pier. When they got to her, she was still holding the phone in her hand, police said. http://news.sky.com/story/1183945/facebook-user-glued-to-phone-walks-off-pier
He'll come to us all mate ....... God bless us everyone Lovely story, it's great having kids in the house at Christmas.
Fyi The International Space Station is passing overhead this evening at 6pm and is very clear to see with the naked eye (looks like a very bright light moving through the sky). We will be sprinkling our reindeer food at 5.58pm (!) tonight, just in time to see Santa passing in the sky! See link below for exact times (it is visible throughout the UK at the same time).
