I have been backing Saints for a result most weeks on the Norwich prediction thread. This time I have a sneaking suspicion that Cardiff will win.Having said that it suits us better if you do.
I'll be there on my in laws ticket in the cardiff end sitting on my hands. Was at the last fixture too but in the saints end, it was a horrible, undeserved loss and I took a load of stick on the way home. I'm going for the old favourite 3-1 to saints and a much nicer journey to the house. One word of caution for those coming down, if you want to use the pub outside the ground for a bevvie before the match, you have to buy food too. COYR!!! I'll also be giving that Tan plenty of abuse throughout the game
TEAM NEWS IN CONTENTION: Kelvin Davis, Nathaniel Clyne, Jose Fonte, Luke Shaw, Dani Osvaldo. OUT: Artur Boruc, Victor Wanyama, Guly Do Prado.
Where can you go for a pint? And where is the best place to park?[/QUOTE] Nowhere really nearby to drink except the pub right outside the ground where you have to buy food (May be able to get away with crisps as food though). Not too sure about the parking as I normally park in the stadium car park when I've gone, but if you are quick getting in and out, you could park in the retail park next to the ground, but they have a 2 hour parking limit
Mauricio always says that it comes down to the manager, but he must be angry at needless errors. Can't do much against brilliance or when luck isn't on your side, but he wouldn't be human if he didn't fume about Sunday's game.
Presumably Fonte is in contention in the same way that he has been for the last few games where he's sat on the bench. We could really do with Shaw back at the very least. We cannot play Jos and Fox in the same back 4 again.
Pochettino: "It's been a tough time for some players who are having personal problems at this moment, which haven't been talked about." Was also asked about a rumour he'd had a row with Cortese over Ramirez. He flatly denied the rumour.
Ian Darke of BT Sport: "At Cardiff training this morning, rumours that Vincent Tan demanded a switch to 4-3-3 during a five-a-side practice match!"
This is why it makes me laugh when people start bellowing and screaming about why x or y isn't playing, and don't show any trust of the management and training teams that have been with them all week and are privy to information that none of us get anywhere near.
Can only imagine the player with personal problems is Yoshida, as you'd certainly have expected a virtual ever-present from last season to make more than one appearance out of seventeen. No idea of course, but that's the most logical I'd have said.
