No sign of a Mackem fanzine on the Internet called 'its the hope that kills'.
There was one called 'its the hope I can't stand' many moons ago.
Perhaps he's mistaken.

 

THe ignorant knackers forget or just plain ignore the other fact of the season they scored 9.

That fact being that Newcastle United, were crowned Champions of England.

We might have had a s*** second half in one match, but we walked away with the big prize that season.

Things haven't changed much in the 105 years since, they're more interested in the derbies, whilst we look at the bigger picture and don't have there small club mentality.

He's either a Mag having a laugh... or a Mackem in denial.

I do believe I was getting chastised by him for posting on their board. I wouldn't mind betting he's got more posts on our board than I have on theirs.

RAW does have a name plate on order for a seat at our table. This is a known fact. JH is polishing it up for him as we speak.
to be fair I like Whitey. He's a normal Mackem. Along with the likes of Marcus, Disco, Mush, Indy, Comm and Sid he can take a bit of stick and also give it back without crying like a baby like some of the minority regularly over there.
On every board there are a few who don't quite grasp the concept of a multi board forum and take banter too seriously at times.

 

Do you have any good recipes for apple pie fella?
