Bit too early to be having a victory parade Dave. They could easily be a mere 2 points behind you come Sunday night....
Typical United. Always banging on about history! Honesty mate, your bitterness has surprised me. We must be doing something right!
January is key. We need to take advantage of our excellent position in the league to convinced better players to join. We can sell the club with a excellent chance of getting top four and with said player joining, they could be instrumental in helping it to happen etc. Mourinho has quite a few medals from beating the lower ranked sides
Not a victory parade at all just enjoying the truth they are 8 points and 8 places behind us today. They could also be 11 points behind us as well!
You being sat 11 points ahead of United come Sunday night, is about as likely as Lord Lucan knocking on your door playing the banjo with Elvis accompanying him.
It has been an absolute pleasure to watch this Liverpool team at times this season. I was at Villa Park and White Hart Lane so I must be a lucky omen! I just hope that you can keep this form up into the New Year starting with at least a point at the Etihad. And I hope that the scummers from Narfolk can put more dents into the Mancs challenge for a Europa league place. I would also like to wish all you Scousers a very Happy Christmas
I think some are missing the point, even if we lose the next 2 games we will still be very well placed to finish in the Champions League spots. If we can grab points from City and Chelsea then even better.
I don't think anyone's missed that point tbh mate. The league has 6 points separating the top 7 sides, which makes it one of the most open leagues in living memory. Aside from City who imo are just starting to gather some momentum, I can see the rest staying really tight between now & as late as the middle of Feb. It'll be a real roller coaster for all involved.
