Looks pretty defensive line up, bit worrying.

Rambo will do well to cover Lamps, Mikel & Ivan.

    and he would look S#!t.

**** line up. Hate Jose for doing this.

worried, to think I took off from my work shift for this is utter shame!!

disappointing too really, Ramires on the right when we have an abundance in quality in those 3 positions is just woeful and Mikel pairing with Lampard is rarely a good thing. Was really hoping Ba started too.

Decent half, we've coped with them brilliantly but looked like a flat fart going forward. Dean's been a bit iffy, Azpi and Mikel should have yellows to their name but not having that penalty shout, Walcott fell over as soon as he felt a tickle.

Overall I think we've been better, just have to put the ball where it needs to go now!

Poor selections, little intent to win, settled for a draw before a ball kicked. Slower than a wet week. A team to keep intact the Managers Reputation for not losing, at the expense of 3 points for the Team.
Any wonder we are playing like a squad without purpose.

Arsenal look like they've been drugged, cannot believe how slow they are playing. Our defence is coping well. Expect things to rev up 2nd half.
Arsenal look as if they too will be happy with a draw. Suprising.

cut Jose some slack, he is not playing for a stupid record.

However, I dislike the team especially Mikel + Lamps and still we have bossed the half.

I'll take that point but felt Arsenal were there for the taking. Draw a fair result though.

Also though the 'boring boring Chelsea' chants were quite amusing. One shot on target!

Two points off top having been to 5 of the 7 teams around us. Could be worse but so could have shown more.

When I saw the team selection I could have screamed! Lamps and Mikel etc! However, not a pretty game , but I'll settle for the point!

That 0-0 draw gave me a profit of £450, so I'm happy.

A draw was the fair result. The game was pretty dour and it was a typical Mourinho tactic to try and retain a goalless draw and take a point away from a fellow title contender at the end, which is disappointing and somewhat embarrassing considering we're also going for the title. We set up not to concede so Mourinho wasn't going to just risk throwing that all away at the end.

I thought Arsenal should have had a penalty when Willian kicked Walcott. He may not have been going anywhere, but kicking another player's foot is a foul. Mikel should also definitely have received a booking at least for the foul on Arteta. On another day, both Mikel and Ramires could have been sent off and I would have little room to argue. Have no idea why players go studs up to get the ball when they have another playing challenging for it at the same time. It's just completely daft to be doing that these days as well as pretty dangerous.

Mike Dean tried to calm the game down as much as he good and keep the cards to a minimal, but I would understand Arsenal fans feeling annoyed with the decisions that went against them tonight.

Overall a point for both teams isn't bad.

You're welcome m8. Four out of the last five teams who were top at Christmas have gone on to win the league which you'll be happy to learn. The only one of the five that didn't were Liverpool.

    Enjoy your Christmas.

No surprises -object was to keep us within touching distance of the leaders; desperately need a striker though......c'mon Santa pull finger.

Not the most exciting game of the year, and a fair result. Neither team deserved more than a point. Both looked settled in for a draw before kickoff. Think if one of us had tried to win, instead of trying not to lose, they could have done so. Don't like to see us play so negatively. Everyone did his job, no complaints about effort.
Rare compliment to Mike Dean, nobodies favourite, but a calming influence tonight. Chelsea got away with a few things, which is unusual for Deans ,he usually creams us. Arsenal have a couple of valid gripes with the refereeing.

I'm sorry what? Just what? <doh> He was crap, mostly for us but also on occasion for you. In no way does he deserve plaudits.

You can't blame Dean for your typical nervous start in big matches
