    whats the worst sports related injury you'e ever seen?

    Eduardo's leg was canny horrific, bettered only by rectal prolapses suffered by weight lifters. for anyone seeking clarification as to what i'm talking about type it into google images...

    I'm hoping this thread has legs as i'm very bored.

    Stenhousemuir under 15's,we were playing in the Scottish Cup and our striker got taken out by both there centre halfs. Two broken thigh bones (dunno the official medical term). Sick. He was out of action for 2 years!!!

    Remember seeing footage of some poor fella who got paralysed from the neck down in an American football game.

    Was difficult to watch.

    Then there is graphic footage of quite a few F1 and other motorsport deaths. Bandini's fatal crash at Monaco is hard to watch

    My wrist and arm after I tried skateboarding* for the first time. Three pins and a metal rod and I was only 10. The amount of sympathy gifts I got was untrue. Put an end to my goalkeeping career hopes though :( <wah>
