I said at the very start that Chelsea are playing for a draw, so what? That doesn't excuse our flaccid performance. Misplaced passes, a lack of urgency and a piss poor striker oh..... And not a single sub. Inexcusable. This is not Chelsea of old yet we plays with no impetus.

That's not the point mate. They are well organised with great defenders, we all know that. It's the fact that our attacking and creative threat is utterly impotent as soon as it comes up against a decent defensive side. Happened against Everton, happened here. Too easy to snuff out.

I'm starting to believe the flat track bullies comments made by rival fans, there's some truth in it.

Giroud is never going to be good enough to be a CF for a club like Arsenal, Wenger knew he was not good enough hence the attempts to get Higuain and Suarez.

****ing dire game to be honest. We should have sent Cym to go and stand in the bogs for an hour. We would have scored three or four then <ok>

Ramsey was poor, but he gets let off a bit because he did his usual hard work, and as SJW said, he put the ball on a platter, but the potato messed up.

If we had a halfway decent striker, we could have won tonight. If wenger had bothered to get off his arse and make a fricking sub, then we could have won.

Exactly my point. We want to be champions, we have to stick to the teams who set up defensively.

not that old one , a GOOD striker makes goals from scraps , he dont need gilt edged , cant fucking miss chances...which he then misses also .

    Stop defending ineptitude.

you fucking stand there and tell me Suarez would have missed those ...go on ! i dare ya !

    Meh

Giroud should have scored. But I'm not sure Poldi would have scored if he'd come on.

Watch the game again. Most of your chances came from hitting us on the counter. Yes, Arsenal were poor, but look at your formation and players. You had Mata and Oscar on the bench... then look at your midfield. Maureen was happy with a draw... even Terry said that.

Agree no subs in this game was madness. I don't know the fitness level of Poldi, but this game was screaming for long distance shots.

I'm not defending ineptitude, I'm telling it how it was.

I've already said that Giroud should have buried that chance from Ramsey. But overall, both of our main attacking players were chasing overhit balls or balls that were put into touch. The service was crap tonight.

Anything but 6 points against newcastle and west ham and suddenly that top 4 place wont be looking so secure...

Poldi is by far our best finisher, i'm 80% confident he would have scored that chance.

Look at all the teams that won the title and look at the CF's they had. Our's are not ****ing good enough and never will be. If Wenger and the board are serious about going for the title then they need to make some moves for proper forwards. If they stick with Giroud and co, then that's just tells us they are happy with making the top four and not going for the actual title. Big games are normally always tight, and you need a clinical forward. Our creative players can't create four or five clear chances for Giroud in games like this. They can against the **** teams in the league, but not against the likes of Chelsea.

I can understand leaving Carzola on the bench, his form as been poor of late... but at least throw on the POD for 10 minutes. At least he'd have a ****ing crack at the goal on target. Not even Flamini? What the hell is going on? It makes no sense whatsoever to not make a single sub.

Mourinho said they let Arteta play free, happy to pass the ball from side to side, felt they had us under control defensively. Same problem we have always had against M's sides, nothing much has changed. We still lack a plan B against teams that park the bus.

Yeah maybe. He couldn't have done much worse that Giroud with that chance.

Would like to see Poldi get a chance in the next few games.
