What with you franchise lot being new to football, your ignorance is forgiven, but we've been the tigers for 109 years, which is longer than the two more recent versions of Leeds, even if we ignore the Tanesque rebrand of the old club done in the 60's. Nr32onthe back. Are there any articles on that site comparing English club set ups to the German model?
Whatever you say tiger Tim. Pearson is still looking to invest in a small club, he ain't rich enough to invest in a big club like Leeds, perhaps you could force Allam out.
An 80% share in Leeds was what £8mill? Not that we're worth it, but it's approaching £100mill for City ow, depending how you count it of course. That's why I was interested in the OP's view of the German model. There's speculation that the chairman could be interested in some form of fan representation.
I thought it was a bint I was talking to. No offence meat, It's just how they came over. Funny lot you Wetherby jockanese types, keeping it in the family and all that.
Don't play daft, I was asking about the name change, What do you think? Personally I think it stinks.
Sorry, I wasn't playing daft, I guess I misunderstood. I'm against the name change, a lot of my opposition is down to the lies and deceit that have come with it. I also don't see what it will achieve. Joking aside, I suppose the old Leeds changing their kit to mimic success abroad flies in the face of the current position of us and Cardiff, but I guess the difference would be the way it was done and the reaction of fans to it.
If it keeps you happy taff, you have all the fantasies about me you like. Fill your boots....your tissues and old your socks.
There you go again, working yourself into a frenzy about your brother! The tigers really amuse me. Pity they're heading for extinction. Might make a contribution to the WWF to prolong the agony for my own amusement.
It being Christmas we have indulged our six fingered visitor for the sake of good will, he has enjoyed the company and now it's time to ignore his look at me posts.
If you two young 'uns hadn't jumped in with your nonsense, the OP could have just looked at the facts behind Bates scrapping Leeds, and put all his efforts into a more detailed account of the current version. That was the main purpose of me replying. I was trying to help. As far as banter goes, you two look as though you need a lot more practice before posting in public.
Alright, calm down guys. It's Christmas! Am I right, you ask if we wrote any articles about English clubs "managed" the german way? If that's what you mean, then no ... Sorry if I'm mistaken!
Hulls history,-------------------oops there isn't any.Why don't you do what your owner told you all to do and hurry up please.Tigers or city makes no difference to us you're boring and so is your club you mean nothing to us so go bore your dull fans.
Cheers bud, it's the running of the club rather than the management of the team I was meaning, but I'm guessing that's what you're referring to. Good luck with your article, you'll need to prune the responses from some on here, they can't even work out that 109 years trumps 7. You do need to look closely at the period I'm referring to though as most seem to want to ignore what is a key part of the history and one of the reasons why Leeds were deducted points under special circumstances rather than kicked out as the rules suggest.
I get where Allam is coming from, 109 years and you've won **** all, how embarrassing is that? I don't blame him for wanting to change the name. If Hull had been kicked out of football I doubt anyone would have noticed...or cared
