Do you know why our average attendance is what it is? I think you should research it. Its the ground's capacity, we sell out virtually every game.

You have to remember that West Ham also basically give a load of their tickets away.
I use Ticketmaster for gig tickets and get weekly emails with offers from Fulham and that lot.
Kids for a quid, family tickets at a discount, relegation party specials...

West Ham released this Christmas clip yesterday, featuring their players' festive greetings to the fans:

Tomkins failed to heed the advice of his mate Jack Collison, though. Drink responsibly? Erm, not so much.
Went out the same night, got pissed up at a Brentwood nightclub and got arrested for being drunk & disorderly, resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer! <laugh>

4. That's what Wet Spam will be calling its season ticket next season - The Relegation Pass. It'll cost around £50, and will include free entry to cup games.

Care to back this assertion up, or do you think your word carries any merit?

That's because you spammers haven't got a delusional rivalry with them, so you don't really bother them. If you did, I am sure they would point out the shortcomings of your tragic club too. They all probably think their team is the best one in the PL too. Does that make them arrogant?

10. Is it really "arrogance" to know that we've got the best team in world football, and to know that we're currently under-performing only because the lads need to settle in?

I think not.

Correct - my nephew's a Spurs fan (I'm actually quite a nice man so don't hold it against him ;-) )and getting tickets can be nigh on impossible.

which, if i'm not mistaken, is less than 100%, I know you spuds aren't the brightest of supporters, but I did think that even you'd realise a number lower than 36000 wasn't the same as one that's higher, but then I read some of what you lot write and realise I've over-estimated your intelligence by a quite a wide margin.
oh, I really don't know where to start with that, from a team whose supporters think they rival some of the worlds best teams despite the fact they can't qualify for the CL more than once in 20 years.

It may surprise you to know that certain away sides don't sell out their allocation. Wigan traditionally bring down a handful of fans, for example.
That impacts upon the overall attendance, something which I'm surprised someone of your apparent genius didn't notice.

Just so you know, you can still buy tickets for your Boxing Day fixture against Arsenal, as they're on General Sale:

Half-season tickets are also available:

Kids from £65. <ok>

I see you're still having difficulty with the basic math and the difference between 100% and 99%, I have backed up my 'assertion' that your average attendence is not your capacity, and as a percentage is pretty much the same as ours, ironically all you are doing now is confirming the title of this thread. And I guess the Trotterham job was just too big for Capello, Hiddink et al.

lol, but you couldn't, every single one of them distanced themselves from the job, the only ones on the 'who will be our next manager' list that didn't are Hoddle and Sherwood, who both have big ties to Trotterham. Unfortunately you lot can't take the hint, they're telling you "You aren't big enough".

Nobody has 100% attendance. Away fans don't sell their allocations and people buy tickets then don't turn up.
Even Arsenal don't have a significantly higher attendance and theirs is based upon sales, not on who actually goes.

You've failed to address the various points put to you, as you simply can't. There's a massive waiting list for Spurs season tickets, whilst West Ham's are available now.
You have to virtually give away tickets for your games, local derbies against big clubs go on General Sale to the public and your prices are quite a bit lower across the board, too.
You advertise in the Metro all the time and send out desperate emails via Ticketmaster on a weekly basis to fans of other clubs. We don't.

As for the management situation, I think it's clear that Levy's decided to wait for the right man, rather than rush into something and end up with a poor appointment.
After all, we wouldn't want to end up paying out the thirteenth highest wages in the world for a manager like Sam Allardyce, would we? Relegation battles and hoofball? Pass.

So, pretty much 10% under capacity. So, by my crude maths that means that unless Sunderland turned up with absolutely no fans (which wasn't the case) then the home fans were quite a few short of capacity.
