Dell will do a desktop for that. It will serve his needs perfectly well and will be a solid reliable workhorse that will last for years. Am still using a Dell Dimension 5150 desktop in my office that was bought early 2006. Still going strong, never had a single bit of bother with it.
I know Gambol will not like the forum's Luddite agreeing with him but I 100% concur. My brother's got one and it's absolutely fine for his and the kids' needs.
