    If we don't strength then our early great start will be pointless.

    Strengthening to me is adding numbers and quality not playing the normal Ashley game one out and replaced with a lesser quality player

    Cabaye is going to the world cup regardless of what happens in January. He is integral to their plans. It will come down to the desperation of teams like Man U to pay Mikes fees. I think the fee will be high as his contract runs to 2016. If someone gets silly he'll jump at the chance. I don't think you can really hold it against him.

    I believe the success of the Gouffrans and Tiotes and Cabayes are working against Ashley.

    Now he believes he can continue unearthing unknown gems all the time. Which results in any player costing upwards of say 6-8million, and its a no go, no matter how good that player is. Even if he would greatly improve our team.

    I agree with most of the comments but TIOTE ( Speed Bump) he slows them down but he does not stop many

    Completely agree but I suspect the manager will have little say and the owner will take the cash if it is there. I'm not sure what to think. Man U could certainly do with him.

    A bit surprised Willo hasn't been mentioned. The way he's been playing lately we're bound to have Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea, Spurs and Man Utd coming calling on him.

    I don't think anyone will leave unless it is £22 million for Cabaye. Pardew knows the squad isn't the biggest, and again we are in a position no one expected at the start of the seaon. Think he will convince the players and Ashley to wait til the summer.

    I would seriously investigate that if NUFC aren't already. Surely there's an angle there to swing a deal with QPR before the vultures start circling!

    Sadly I think it's more down to Remy and he/his agent holds the cards on his next move...

    You're probably right and didn't Stevie already say he won't go to London,then maybe 80 grand a week may change his mind!
