    reason 1 - arsenal v chelsea 2moro, cant wait
    reason 2 - boxing day - either go the home game or go to the pub for an away tie
    reason 3 - go to the pub or watch the cardiff game on here
    reason 4 - NYD either go to the match or the pub for an away tie

    Not for me. This country's tradition is being ripped apart on a daily bases, The Christmas footballing calendar is very important to me, full of memories. unless was a break back end of Jan it wouldn't have my support.

    if it makes your season its good if it is the reverse its bad of course, a great leveler was the heavy winter pitches but nowadays they are good all season

    Spot on, let the wealthy entertainers entertain the common man during the festive period. They get paid well enough for it, and have canny summer holidays.

    The last winter break I had resulted in 5 operations and a lot of traction! I'd rather not go through that again

    Have to say I love the Christmas fixture period. Lots of games in a short space of time means not long till the next football fix.

    If we have a winter break, it'd have to start after new year
