Luis Suarez - Currently The Best Player in the World.

This is replicated on the Liverpool board - but I know a lot of you ****ers are banned, or some of you don't go on the board so I thought I'd replicate it here to perhaps get a more balanced view


Slam me down bitches…..But 'statistically' the one and only Suarez is the best in the world currently.

I don't usually like stats, but when stats back up a player that covers every blade of grass on the pitch people must take notice.


The guy is literally a machine and I would love some opposition fans to give their honest views.

Also those that thought we were mad turning down a £40mil+1p bid can lick my big fat hairy bollocks

I'd dispute the point that he is "literally a machine ".

 

Ronaldo best in the world this season; those WC qualifying goals v Sweden!
followed by Ibra (see goals v Anderlecht).

Until Suarez plays CL he will not be up there with the greats.

He may need to move on to achieve this.

In Italy and Germany, you need to succeed in CL to be a great. We are very little Englander about how great the premiership is. But it is not the be all and end all.

You need to prove yourself on the greatest stage, Champions league, to be the best, like messi and Ronnie have

He's definitely improved on his finishing since Rodgers came in

And statistically he's the only one found guilty of racism.

He's the only one of the top players not playing in the CL but to be fair that's because the team he plays in is not good enough to qualify.

Ronaldo and messi also have to play midweek as well as at weekends.

Suarez only has weekends to worry about.

The same FA that found Suarez guilty also found Terry guilty, so he was statistically incorrect with his statistic.

 

Messi is currently injured (or is only just back??) so not worth discussing. Ronaldo is statistically 2nd best in the world currently.

We all know that Messi and Ronaldo are both better players, as they've done it year in year out. This thread is on current form

LOL. If you define current as December, then yes. Maybe Ronnie was better in November. And Liverpool are top of the league in December: but you don't get any medals for that.

But how can you compare Suarez against others when he does not play CL?

Pleased you guys love him again. What happened to Suarez out, no one is bigger than LFC? we should never offer him a new contract, etc...

 

This season - 19 goals 11 assists in 12 games.

That is the best in the world. Simple.


Add to that people always bleat on about this being the best league in the world etc etc.

 

Great stat: the Suarez is not bigger than LFC crew have gone quiet now.

Personally I think Champions League is an important reflection of a player's ability too.

 

I agree and have said that Messi and Ronaldo are the best 2 in the world. Stat's on Suarez this season Messi and Ronaldo would be proud of, I know Ronaldo's are pretty close to be fair.

I think this season so far has propelled Suarez to the 3rd best player in the world. Things could change as he's yet to hit his peak and the Liverpool dominance is only just starting


Or he could go the same way as Torres?


He might leave in the summer, even though signing a new contract - but you know full well it will be 60-80mil (minimum)
