I can understand why they're so confident. Since we have been in the Prem they have consistently won against us...and well. They're red hot at the moment so why wouldn't they expect to beat us. I have the same feeling as I think a lot of us Jacks have however, we're at home and usually the away team parks the bus...Everton aren't going to do that...it's non stop attack from them these days (like us under Bobby in League 1)...and perversely that should suit us. It all depends on whether we can take a chance or 2 while we are on top. For that reason I'd starr Michu behind Bony today and bring Pozuelo off the bench for the last 20-25mins. Really think we're going to see a good game today regardless of the result
I agree. If ws can sneak 3 points today it would be a big 3 points (like the Newcastle result). We'd be on 23 points. 10 from CL and 10 from relegation. Firmly mid table, if it happens the pressure would be off over Christmas and we couldn't ask for more on our budget.
There is a difference between confidence and arrogance. They have every right to be the former but the latter is an unatttractive trait. Some of the comments i've seen make me hope they are heading for a fall today. Good to see some rather more respectful posts on here.
I fill my pants every time our defence has the ball at their feet - just seems like a disaster waiting to happen.
Pablo very quiet and his execution has been poor so far. Bony looking strong holding the ball up though.
Agree Stereo, they seem to be panicking with the ball at their feet. Chico doesn't look comfortable with the ball going backwards at all.
...with regards to the execution - some of the passing makes me wonder if they've ever played football before !!
was realy worried about the defence midfield link up play but it improved as the half wore on - now we just need to work on the midfield/wing/attack link up play! Pozuelo for Routledge?
Time to take Pablo and JDG off and bring on Leon and Poz because those two are contributing **** all again today. Just wish to God Laudrup could see that
