The next Ossie Ardiles? http://metro.co.uk/2013/10/03/erik-...essi-says-spurs-legend-ossie-ardiles-4133323/
I don't understand what you're laughing at. Okay, so Lamela hasn't exactly set the EPL on fire so far, but give him time. Under Sherwoodie, there's every chance that the world of football will witness a renaissance of 61/62 proportions for Spurs. That might not happen, also.
Severe lack of knowledge mate, whether you like it or not, Lamela is one of the brightest prospects out of S.America, and will go on to be a fine player, marginalised by our ex manager who didn't want him, if he's only now being given confidence and Sherwood believes in him do you not find it a litle ridiculous to judge him on so few games. I'll bet today you thought he played badly, no assists or goal doesn not mean a bad game, on the contrary he did ok, worked hard when we didn't haven't it, and was a little unlucky when he broke forward his final pass was just off. He dwelt on it a couple of times still in Serie A mode perhaps, but his intent was the right decision, he'll quicken up...he's only 21.
It cost me my freedom on the 'Pool, Gooner and Chav boards. My brand of exciting, highbrow, close-to-the-knuckle wit frightens people and threatens to expose the imbecile lurking inside. I've come to accept that, now.
An extremely self- deluded class of one! Seriously, if it actually existed, I'm sure that Sherwood's burgeoning managerial talent would have made itself apparent before now...
"It's kinda like watching your mother in law go off a cliff in your brand new Ferrari. You got mixed feelings.” Sherwood on AVB December 19th 2013
Yep, couldn't watch any more of that. And if we'd have actually won a trophy or finished in the top four it would have been a disaster, we might have had years of that stuff.
Am I the only one who is confused by the fact that that he has been around the club coaching for a good while and has still not done his badges?
Yes, under him we would probably be 9 points off the top. I guess we all have lessons to learn though. I don't imagine we will appoint a club legend who used to be a good coach and give him a huge sack of cash to waste. Oh, wait a minute....
