Yoshida isn't any better we have seen that this season already. Fonte isn't fit it's as simple as that.
Gazza is poor but he is not helped by MP not playing his strongest defence. Fonte and Shaw could have played some part surely? All hands to the pump this Xmas.
So what if Shaw played and then passed his virus to 3 other players ruling them out? I would him rather be well them pass a illness on to already small squad.
Why is he on the ****ing bench then? Not even Sunday league teams have players as subs if they unable to be called upon.
Agree that Cropper has little experience however maybe he is ready to take his chance. Gaz certainly does not look like he wants the spot. If KD is fit play him but I just see little to be gained by playing Gaz.
But yet still able to pass on? Would you risk it with the amount of injuries we have already? I know I wouldn't.
Ha, yeah I guess it must be worrying for the USA that he's the best they've got at that age level. It's quite likely he'll never see a senior cap though. Most youth players seem to be picked solely on how good their clubs are. We really haven't seen that this season. He's played in one game. It was poor, sure, but that's hardly grounds to write him off.
But to be the best that they have, he must be able to do the most basic of things, at least. Gazzaniga is not. I have no expectation that Cropper will be full international quality, but the guy he would be replacing isn't even Football League quality at the moment.
I would rather agree with the Saints medical team tbh. They said they wouldn't risk it and they know far more then me and you.
The word "infectious" literally means liable to be passed on. Infections may not always be spread directly through personal contact, but they absolutely are contagious. A cough could leave germs on a surface which can be picked up by someone else touching the surface for example. I really think Cropper is a few steps down even compared with Gazzaniga, sadly.
Shocking. The only saving grace was that I stuck a tenner on Spurs when I saw our lineup, so I won thirty quid. Not sure why he took cork off when he did. Thought he was playing OK. Other than that, agree with everyone else. I think it's time to write gazzaniga off, and chuck in anyone else tbh.
Didn't understand that either. Also don't think our players could believe it as they were still looking in bemusement at the bench a few seconds later when Spurs got their winner.
