Yeah, I think the problem with that is Cropper is even worse...

We're 19th in the form league table over the last 6 games. I know we've had tough games but that's not good enough.

    Edit: Make that joint 20th.

Adebayor can be absolutely outstanding if he wants to be, he has a point to prove now and he could end up being Tottenham's top striker this season depending on the new manager.

What's more annoying is that the media are hailing Tim Sherwood as some sort of managerial god whereas if he had come up against a team with even a half organised defence, they'd have been torn to pieces.

I believe so, yes. Gazzaniga is really showing no signs of improvement.

We have to weather the storm. Nothing more, nothing less. We can't do anything til Jan, my worry is we won't even then. I don't like slating players but gazza's shots faced to goals ratio can't be good.

Manager is making some odd decisions, both selection wise & substitutions.

Think he needs to take what the medical team say with a pinch of salt. Shaw can't be that ****ing fragile, he tweeted that he was alright.

Horrible game, ****e atmosphere, bloody hate Spurs. Happy ****ing Christmas.

He's a liability at this level, particularly with Fox in defence too. But he's anything but a prick. Really top bloke who gives his all for the team. Unfortunately that's not good enough anymore and we need to be bringing in another top CB to play alongside Dejan.

Not asking for anything massive from Cropper, but as a (now-former, owing to age) mainstay for the US U-20s, he has to be less of a liability than Gazzaniga.

    It really isn't:

3 shots faced against Villa, 3 goals
4 shots faced against City, 1 goal
5 shots faced against Newcastle, 1 goal
3 shots faced against Spurs, 3 goals

So 15 shots faced in all and only 7 saves made. Can't quite believe this is the same keeper who Adkins said would be Argentina's number one. I know Adkins is an optimistic chap but he must have been smoking something strong to think that.

We could have conceded at least 2 more today down to him not coming off his line quick enough too. I really miss Boruc's flying starfish saves.

Hooiveld was at fault for last week's goal, he was at fault for at least 2 today. He is a massive liability and we need to get rid of him.

He's a poor keeper and whats worse, any confidence he might have had is gone completely now.

Rather see Boruc playing with one hand behind his back than Gazzaniga.

Did he sleep with your sister or something? Sheesh.

I think you overestimate the quality of opposition the USA U20s face. The likes of Panama, the British Virgin Islands and Dominica are hardly going to threaten your goal on a regular basis.

Manager's fault for picking him when he had Fonte and Yoshida on the bench.

    Fonte can't be "THAT" injured.

I have to agree with you. He's trying his best but we can't afford to pick him again.

Every player wants to play? So of course he said he was ok to play.

Not looking at it from that standpoint, just the fact that he was apparently considered the best in his age group for a country that has produced quite a few good keepers. Conversely, I'm not sure that Gazzaniga was the best keeper in our starting XI.
