    As per the title chaps.

If we lose anyone who do you think it will be?

I've actually expanded this to be a multiple choice poll, if you so wish.

It is a public poll so any 'rogue elements' can of course be identified.

My view on this has changed lately.
I think Jonas will go and we will get a Striker in.
I can see Cabaye going... but in the summer, along with Gosling and Obertan.
This will be a quiet January for us but I expect a lot in the summer as Mike will wait to see if we are in Europe before investing heavily.
I also think we will do a deal with one of two out of contract lads to come in during the summer.

I hoping we don't lose Cabaye and Krul in January but if a club came in with silly bid I'm sure MA would sell.
Cisse could be gone in January with Jonas also see Gosling and Obertan going.

I think it's most likely to be Cabaye... Cisse isn't playing well enough to attract any attention and Ben Arfa simply isn't playing enough to get people opening their cheque books... Krul could be a outside bet but where could he go where he'd be guaranteed first-team action?

Hopefully we sell nobody (although the sight of Cisse leaving wouldn't upset me) and with any luck we manage to get in a striker that can actually score to take the responsibility away from Remy.

    Do you honestly believe that?

He didn't bother the last time we qualified for the Europa League and only bought in January as it looked like we'd get relegated!

I think we might get one or two quality signings in in January. I think Saylor and Cisse might be on their way. If I was being pessimistic I'd say Cabaye, but actually I don't see that happening until the summer.

All other teams around us will strengthen, we are in a fantastic position, with a bit of investment we could make top 4 yet all we can look forward to is losing a top player.

I'd rather see us build on what we've got and keep a winning team together. At the end of the day it could be worth a lot more than we'd get for selling anybody and breaking the team and winning mentality up.

If we are going to be selling then I'm afraid Cabs would be the first one to go.

Whatever happens they need to be planning how they see the Remy situation panning out. Right now if he was to go we would be stuffed. I too think Saylor and Cisse may go.

    All of this <ok>

I voted Cabaye. I think for the right Club (Cabaye) and the right money (MA) the deal will be done. Impressed with the way Cabaye has handled himself after the first few weeks of the season and put everything into his games for us, but I think in his heart he wants away and it's inevitable if the right club and right money appear.

Why would Cabs. go in the run up to The World Cup? He knows how good the five are that we signed last January and he is bright enough to see how long it took them to gel.
If he moves to a "good" club he could experience that himself, if he goes to a "top" club he may not get enough playing time.
He will draw more attention to his qualities, with us, I suggest not just to our supporters but the French Manager.
Cisse could be on his way - the guy looks lost on the pitch. That's OK as long as we sign a good striker on a permanent deal(in addition to Remy).
Otherwise I think MA will not sanction any other deals.

But it didn't stop his head being turned at the start of the season and the indication/suggestion was that he wanted out then. Maybe since then the team has come together a bit more, and he feels more settled, but this wasn't the first time it looked like he wanted out, and I just think in his heart he wants to move on.

It would be suicidal for the club to sell him midway through a very good season...
sadly i suppose it means we will probably sell him then

Cabaye will definitely NOT leave in January. With us he is guaranteed to go to the World Cup. A move could potentially jeopardise that for him.

I think the only players that will go will be players that we want to go. So maybe Cisse, Obertan, Marveaux and Gosling.

As someone else has mentioned, for me we should try and get Cabaye and Ben Arfa to sign new deals.

We should then try for Ince and Luuk De Jong to help us really pad out the squad whilst also improving the first team. Tell Cabaye that is our plan for January and in the summer we intend to go after a further striker and centre back (15 million outlay) and we'd maybe have half a chance of keeping Cabaye.

Fund the signing of De Jong by flogging Cisse. Just like Cisse's price has dropped so has De Jong's. His move to Germany as been a disaster and they'll get nowhere near the 12 million they paid for him. Could even try a swap deal with Cisse being tried and tested in that league.

Ince will be going for around 5 million too I'd imagine. No need to spend mega bucks, there are deals out there. Going to be an exciting January for us for a change in my opinion. I can see Ben Arfa having a great second half to the season after his cameo yesterday. Finally looked like the penny has dropped with him.

His head wasn't just turning it was spinning.I agree Mrs.M. that he wanted out but I think he is bright enough to wait until after the World Cup before pushing for a move.We will have to wait and see AND keep our collective fingers crossed.

Does anyone else think we have a chance of grabbing gourcuff from lyon? His contract is running down and reportedly he has refused an extension. Cracking player although more attack minded than cabaye. Could complement our midfield really well.
