We played poor today but at least we didn't get beat. it just does my head when we can't beat teams around us. hopefully get 4 or more points in the next 3 games.

    This.

I still have hope but today was so disappointing but I guess no more disappointing than for Poyet. I dare say he had better footballers at Brighton than he does here and we never looked at any point like scoring today. Creativity, nil; opportunities, nil; attacking prowess, -2.

We simply MUST get a striker in or preferably two in January, or we are buggered.

You went down because your fans turned against the club and the management. We are trying to unit and be positive in every respect possible.

Perhaps this is too hard for you to understand!

Fair point Trevor but I think you'll find most fans would struggle to stay positive towards their club and the way it is being run when you have someone at the top who seems hell-bent on tearing it to pieces. Just ask Cardiff at the moment, its because they love their club that they need to stand up against how it is being run.

Not saying I agreed with the protests at Newcastle that year and certainly some days cost us (like the protest at home before the Hull game which lead to a listless performance and us losing 1-0, which is surely a huge factor behind our relegation) but I don't think you can blame fee-paying match-goers for complaining when something is intrinsically wrong with what is going on at a club. Preferable if they keep it from affecting what goes on on the pitch though!!

You met us at a bad time.Since Anfield we have been far stronger and anyone who watched the match yesterday as a neutral must agree that we were worth the point and arguably had the better chances.I presume those of your fans who wanted a penalty against Bassong have seen the replays and repented.

Having said all that I think you lads have a good chance of staying up.It's just four points and West Ham,West Brom and(especially) Cardiff all have problems bigger than you.I think you can overtake all three of them.

Your league position does not lie. You have poor players.

that's true we do have poor players but so does 6 or 7 other clubs in the premiership.in fact we are playing better football than them.we are just not getting the wins we need.

not so much poor players. 'poor application', 'lacking in confidence' or 'poor finishing' up front would be more apt. those in the forward ranks are all internationals for Italy, Sth Korea, England, Sweden, USA, Scotland. they're not poor players, just not clicking.

As I was saying above Haslam <laugh>

"We'll be in the PL next season, will win a cup and do the double over Newcastle .......... I'd have taken that before the season started."

To be fair, you're one of the few decent Mags on here. It's funny that the sad clowns who would've been all over the Sunderland board are all 'off sick' <laugh>

Travelsick, Top Dog, Judean have all skulked away for some reason, what a surprise.
