    Figgy's was a cracking dive, weren't it?

How do they get away with them, it looks so obvious... though I suppose having replays does help.

janujaz dives were a lot worse, and young is a consistent twat

ours aren't, watch janujaz dives from today, one of them was like he was trying to do the plank

A dive is a dive. Figgy's was as bad as Januzaj's.

How can one dive be technically worse than another?

So it's okay to dive, as long as it's more convincing?

Figgy's was embarrassing too. If players are thinking about getting free kicks they aren't putting their full effort into playing football. I hate it whoever does it.

Doesn't matter, it dont mean one dive isnt as bad as another. All dives, no matter who does them or how often they do them, are disgraceful.

The Januzaj penalty claim was a blatant shove by Noble

To give any credit to the other dive - i thought he would have been clobbered by the defender had he not got out of the way. Perhaps just a wimp?

That'll be the 4th or 5th time Moyes has had his "officially you're being a **** so stop it, but off the record nice one son you helped us win that game, keep it up" chat with Young.

There's distinction for me, if there's contact there's nothing wrong with the player exaggerating it to draw the attention to the foul so long as they don't feign injury to get the player booked as well. If a player stays on their feet they pretty much never get the freekick or penalty even if they've lost possession as a result so why bother trying to? Clearly when there's no contact it's just outright cheating.

When vidal did that horrendous dive v madrid the other month everyone was lambasting him, when a dive is that obvious there's no debate about it, some dives can have debate as to whether they are true dives if there is an inkling of contact though

And the janujaz dive was possibly worse than the vidal dive

however all diving is wrong and needs stamping out but it won't be unless post game repercussions occur/video replays are brought in

Brady has done his bit as well, getting booked for it once. They all do it don't just pick some out.

Januzaj has been developing at Manchester United so diving is expected to be in his game. Besides, it's the Premier League, it should be expected.

Complaining about diving is pointless, because they're playing at the top level of football, manipulating the referee is just a part of making sure the game swings in your favour unfortunately. Cheating with style almost.

It's obviously wrong, but I can't see any way to prevent it.

Any player seen to be diving receives a yellow card and can't win any more free kicks for the rest of the game. That'll sort it out.

No - anyone caught diving should receive a RED card.

    That would soon stop it.

Games could be reviewed by a panel after the game. Any obvious cheating gets a big fine for player and club as well as a ban.

The ideas can be there, but getting the F.A. to put it into action is a whole new kettle of fish. Look how long it took for Goal-line technology, and that's still only in the Premier League...

That could work, and may be passable through the thick skulls of the F.A.

Anybody got any friends in higher places?

Well that's just stupid because whenever they get the ball they would just get hacked to the ground.
