Looked like a foul to me..

 

There have been some blatent dives recently like Januzaj today (all teams have more than one player who does it) but i do think ref`s (and some supporters) don`t understand how the slightest touch can send a player over when running at speed (not talking about today when contact was a yard away) and sometimes players get a reputation/booked because of their speed/skill.

 

So you prefer it if your manager defends a blatent dive?

 

The first one, I've no idea why the West Ham players we're going mental at him. Didn't see like he appealed for the pen and Noble was just a lot stronger. 2nd was ridiculous as you say.

I think you can see from the way players go down as to whether it's a dive or not. When running at pace and you get a slight touch if you stumble it and take a few steps before flaling over, it can look more like a dive but it's probably a more natural reaction of losing balance and with each step balance gets worse to the extent you can't stay up. Where as going over straight away is probably a dive, especially when the hands go flying up in the air as well

Think that's why Bale got a lot of stick, he may have got a slight touch sometimes but the way he went down made it look much more like a dive because he would throw his hands and head back

 

But Rodgers hasn't had any dives to defend? The only one I can think of was Suarez against Stoke at the beginning of last season which he did condemn, and he hasn't dived since.

 

People from norf landan believe not seeing anything is the best option.
