It was a fantastic atmosphere. I did question what the world record is for fans singing one song repetitively after a match? We must have gone close! I'd just like to take this opportunity to say if Malky stays I want to join in taking all the credit on here for doing so
steveoldinho very emotive and gutted i wasn't there- well done to you all lets hope malky be there boxing day but suspect not. Apparently sven is a favourite to replace malky. i think i will shoot myself if we go from the most passionate manager who gets the club and the fans to the most passionless manager who will just come to pick up another hefty pay check. MAKES ME FEEL SICK AT THE THOUGHT.
jh ive been to fulham, chelsea and palace away this season and i have to say not many at all and good if you ask me.
Try telling that to the smug armchair brigade (They know who they are)...............unless your there you can not understand .......
Feed the scousers is a manc song but it's the right time of year and we couldnt criticise their football. The boys were in great form today, my personal highlights were "luis Suarez your teeth are offside" and the best moment I've heard in an away crowd this season " let's pretend we've scored a goal" followed by a few oo's ahhs and then celebration. Oh yeah apparently jimmy Saville is Joe Allens dad too, which to be fair I never knew......
London, Yes it was brilliant but there are many singing "don't sack Mackay" with other motives. From Twitter... Jason Law ‏@lawsy1927 I've a horrible feeling Tan is going to come out & back Malky, all will be forgiven etc... Hope I'm wrong..#Tanout Jumping on the Malky bandwagon for their own aims.
Whilst I totally agree with this, Tan has opened the door to this by supplying the ammo to get 90% of fans onto their agenda.
Great support and fair play to the liverpool fans and Brendan rodgers and his staff for giving malky the support he got...It looked as if malky was going to burst into tears on the interview for the overwhelming support he got..
Watched the match on BT and your travelling fans were magnificent throughout. MM was dignified and eloquent in the post match interview and, if it was possible, his stock must have risen even further. If Tan does sack him he will get another job no problem! Was amazing that after the game just about every Liverpool player went over to shake his hand before leaving the field and he was warmly applauded by the Liverpool fans as well as the excellent Cardiff support. Rodgers also looked quite emotional, making a beeline for Mackay as soon as the final whistle was blown. Tan looked on emotionless during the game and left as soon as he could when it ended, but he would have been given a very public indication of just how loved and respected MM is, not just by his own fans, but the football community as a whole. I genuinely hope that by some miracle MM could remain Cardiff manager (anyone who knows me on here knows that I have always admired Malky) but think his position is pretty much untenable now - and that is an absolute crying shame! MM is one of the best young managers around and what he has achieved at Cardiff is to be applauded - that he may not be able to finish the job he started after so much success is unfair in the extreme! Best wishes to all Bluebirds and really hope you get past this and retain your Premier League status. You had Liverpool on the ropes at times in the second half, and were denied at least two penalties from what I could see.
John - you are such an offensive poster to fellow Bluebirds. The "smug armchair brigade" to which you refer have clearly got more away games under their belt in their support of the club through it's difficult history than you've got brain cells. "You were there" - that's seems such a big deal yesterday for a 22 year old i phone puncher with a big gob and small manners. If you want to promote your own perceived superiority because of it, and criticise other posters who've done their bit around the country through the lower divisions in their younger days, and now for whatever reason cannot continue to do it, then carry on. All it does is to prove to everyone on here just what a mouthy forum pillock you are.
All of football are behind you in this because they know it could happen to them. Your fans at Liverpool were excellent, as are the 3-4k who followed you home and away in the lower divisions.
Act your age oldsparkey as name calling is above me to fellow Bluebirds, seems i hit a nerve with you when i reminded you of your "Dead man walking" jibe at Malkie ? As im talking about the away trips in the Prem which i`m sure you or a lot have not been you are not qualified to comment on away days , now any other names you want to call me Mr?
John - acting your age is something you need to learn. Your comments on this forum seem like those of spoilt little chav trying to tell other forum members about supporting their team away from home. Most of us have been there and done it for the past 40 years or more man and boy, so don't lecture and label them as the smug armchair brigade when you know **** all about them. The comment about Malky being a "dead man walking" is not disrespectful. It's a common euphemism for someone who has a potential axe falling over them that they can do little about. As for the name calling - perhaps if you didn't display the characteristics of a pillock in your comments to other loyal and long serving Cardiff supporters, you wouldn't be called one. In the meantime, keep going because you're proving it.
John I was hoping it was the beer talking yesterday and you'd take a step back from being so aggravating and offensive to the majority of this board. It's credit to the people you are abusing you haven't been banned after yesterday. If you'd been a poster from another club you'd be long gone. You've managed to make us look dicks on the Liverpool board too by calling them plastics. If you were at anfield you'd have seen how fantastic they were in support of us. Why would you slag them off? From the fans to the side they were a class act. Have a look around and see how many people on this board agree with you.
