What's your favourite Colemanball?

In light of his death today, I thought it would nice to honour the great man with a thread of favourite Colemanballs. It's a bit like nominating your favourite song really - there are so many, how do you chose?

Neither of my two all-time favourites are actually down to him -

1) Irish commentator George Hamilton's "He’s pulling him off. The Spanish manager is pulling his captain off!”

2) Anita Lonsborough's "It's obvious these Russian swimmers are determined to do well on American soil"

Anyone else?

 

This Athlete is opening his legs and showing his class...!

 

The athlete was Alberto Jauntorena.

 

And the line-up for the final of the women's 400 metres hurdles includes three Russians, two East Germans, a Pole, a Swede and a Frenchman.

 

The batsman is Holding the bowler's Willey.

 

If that had gone in, it would have been a goal.......

 

Wasn't that actually Brian Johnston?

 

I believe so. But it is still a great Colemanball.

 

We now have exactly the same situation as we had at the start of the race, only exactly the opposite.

 

“Don’t tell those coming in the final result of that fantastic match, but let’s just have another look at Italy’s winning goal.”

 

But I believe that Johnners never said it at all, but pity to destroy a myth.

 

Referees, like most of us, are human beings.

 

I never liked him, apart from on spitting image
