Tbf, I don't think even Alex Ferguson could get this bunch of jokers to perform. People are saying this is one of the worst ever Portsmouth teams, considering our history, that's not a great record to have.
It is not going to help when your fans tell the players that they are the worst bunch Pompey have ever had, while they are on the pitch and playing. As was witnessed at yesterdays game. That will really help!! Sure am surprised at your sacking of Whittingham or what ever his name was...as he was at least holding the side together and picking up some points..... A lot of managers would take a look at what Pompey are offering and what they will have to work with.....Sadly with so many of your players on short contracts that is not going to help. The clubs recent reputation and it's recent history is not a favourable one either, so perhaps understandable. They will have seen what your last manager had to work with and what happened to him. There is at the moment no miracle cure for Pompey sadly that is likely the way it will remain for a while.
Appears they still have a squad of journeymen, perhaps some of which are getting paid more than the average wage in this division & lacking motivation as a result. They should have played the kids & locally based players during administration, instead they spunked more money down the drain and went down anyway. Will history repeat itself?

I am thinking of going to the Cobblers v Pompey game... it could be a relegation decider. Easter Monday 21st April... could be a great Easter pressie.
I'll never feel sorry for them but I have completely forgotten about them. They are of no consequence anymore.
