That's what is annoying though, two weeks in a row now Palace and Fulham have lost but we haven't even scored. We're playing well, but we need some creativity.

January is a massive month because as it stands this current team won't stay up, really need to improve the supply to Jozy and Fletch

We did mate but Wes is facing a ban and if we can't beat Norwich at home, where are we going to get the wins to stay up?

Nowhere near down and out but need to start winning.

Point is catching up the others. Still a lot of games ahead.
I also think that red card can be challenged yet again, no way it was a red.

The question is/ who is the composed, jinky playmaker we need going to be. he has to have the gumption to take people on, score, play killer passes and take the pressure off everyone else so they can also create and finish.

I just have no idea who we could get. I hope Gus does, coz without him it's going to be an exceptionally tough run-in.

It'll go to Cardiff at home which we'll win and confirm saftey, parade the League Cup and all get drunk <ok>

What good is a corner if the final whistle goes before we got chance to take it. The ref isn't going to blow until the attack finnishes, he just needed to hold it up for 2 seconds while support arrvied which was almost there. He had a ****e game. All those wasted long shots when he could have done something useful with the ball. There was a few of them doing that but Bardo had 3 for 4 'go for glory moments'. It's not the right attitude.

It was a hard match to pursue ....... if we went for it and lost we'd be feeling much worse than we do now.

We gained a point when other 'relegation teams' were battered.

I'm OK with all this tbh.

Me too Smug. Just realised he'll miss Cardiff and villa though so that's a blow. We really need good attacking player(s) signed in early Jan otherwise were gonna draw 0-0 every week!

It's frustrating that we scored 3 against Chelsea but none against Villa, West Ham and Norwich .......... we only need one goal to beat **** teams like them <doh>

Bardsley is a ****ing defender, should we rely be relying on him to score us the goals, or know how to play the CF role when he finds himself in that situation ?

Bardo is not the problem, our lack of cutting edge is. We cant look to a defender as the problem or the solution. the solution needs to be found in midfield or upfront.

They played Newcastle, Man United and Man City. You played Norwich.

If you can't win at home to the likes of Fulham and Norwich, what gives you this conviction that you will pick up the 8 or 9 wins you need to stay up?

And we're supposed to be the deluded ones <laugh>

NO! That's my point fella, why is he shooting when he gets anywhere near the box? It's him deciding he wants to take responsibility for goals mate not me. He hasn't got a clue.

We need attacking fullbacks to do something helpful with the ball, not shooting and trying to go for glory all the time.

He's one deluded man who sees his side fail to beat team after team, then labels those teams as "absolute ****e" and points to their ****eness as a reason that Sunderland will stay up.

    Beggars belief.

You totally miss the point ......... I'm not saying we're a great team but teams like Norwich aren't any better.

We can get out of trouble because we have form for escaping relegation and a great crowd behind us.

Don't pretend you're feeling confident because youre ****ting your pants.

Of course we are, relegation would be terrible and we're of a similar standard to all the teams who could go down. But, we're 6 points ahead of the dropzone, and have had a significant number of first team players out for the last couple of months, with more still crocked. If we can stay out of trouble in that situation, fingers crossed we can stay up.
