Ignore the w*****s who have given you grief about this thread. Anyne who thinks there's something wrong with seeking or offering sympathy isn't worth the effort of speaking to.

Things get less bad with time. How much time you'll need I don't know, but probably much less than a football season. I hope your mother has a speedy and complete recovery.

I dont understand why some of you, are getting irate over Tash posting this. Yes, I can understand why it comes across as odd, but come on, he's on here pratically all the time. Its understandable he would rather speak to you, than go on other online forums to discuss his problems. Because, yes in ways you lot may be strangers. But, he knows you more than the people on Samaritans.

It's Tash's choice who he speaks too. I think it speaks volumes as to how good this forum is. Yes, it may be a football forum. But it's like a community in many ways. Alot of you lads must speak to people on here more than you do, parents, colleagues etc. So, your not entirely strangers are you.

Anyways. Sorry about what happened to your mother. All the best to her!

Same thing happened to me BA. When I was in my twenties my mum died when she was on holiday and I found out from a policeman who was sent round to tell me. Spent the first hour or so sympathising with him for having to do such a horrible task and didn't absorb the facts of my loss at all. Was three or four hours before the reality set in and I started to grieve.

Tash it is just a state of shock fella. You start empathising properly after time and everything becomes clear and eventually any sorrow/pain becomes bearable with time too.

Blackcatsteve, very sorry to hear about your loss mate, my deepest sympathies go to you and your wife!

I thought the amount of swearing would have given it away. Not to self: use more swear words

Chill out. This forum is like a community and it is the close season. There are only so many transfer rumour threads we can take but the regulars are still all here wanting to talk about something. If you don't like it re-read one of the twenty or so Ba, Sturridge or Cabaye threads if that is more to your taste. Or maybe start a new one because i'm sure you can think of something new to say on the subject.

Enough Tash abuse please! He was apparently so traumatised it took him 2 hours to post it on here while his mam was in the hospital! Please leave the little lad alone.

Pardew is a bit of a smooth operator reportedly. Would be more surprised if he wasn't charming his way through every NE postcode.
