Bloody hell I actually predicted the correct starting eleven in my preview for once... You thought we were doomed before today... We're buggered after that revelation lol!

Ever so slightly surprised that Cook is in ahead of Pigott though (Not surprised he's ahead of Harriott though)

 

Wood and Solly back, my 0-0 looks good.

 

Now we just need Hamer back in goal and Jackson back from suspension and that for me is main team back (although looking at the starting eleven today I dont know where Jacko could be played)

 

The Powell out brigade will remain silent if we go in front silence if we let a goal in then they will celebrate

 

Some will already be celebrating that Pritchard is dropped again. Not me though. He hasn't featured in our recent bad run,apart from an experiment at playing him up front which, not surprisingly, failed from the kick-off. And I'm disappointed that Pigott is not on the bench, even with Marvellous Marvin not available. The back 4, with Cousins in front of them, look solid.

 

I know its a sad contradiction but this is our strongest line up. It's taken 20 games for CP to pick it, injuries notwithstanding. If we take a hiding today I think we can safely assume that we are rogered.

 

Very odd having no striker on the bench when Kermit is only 70% fit and injury prone. I think Pigott must be unfit, particularly as he played well last Monday.

Good to see Wilson back at RM. That solves that problem. Now we need another Wilson type on the left. Apparently CP will not persevere with the Evina experiment there.

Nonsense. We are only half way through the season and we have missed our two best players for most of the first half. Plenty of time to turn things round. We are not even in the bottom three yet despite our poor run. And while we have rarely looked like winning we have never been seriously outplayed against some good teams.
