From what I saw, Skrtel was marking Mutch so far. He might have gotten instructions to change that though with the defensive switch.
I blame BR, dicking around with a defence that much when no one's injured. If Kelly needs time, 3_0 up, bring of the useless bastard Johnson and directly replace. Don't swap the whole back four around... Stupid just bloody stupid.
But this wasn't anything to do with switching fullbacks. This was about someone being left completely unmarked. Someone should have been picking him up like they have been doing all game and that person didn't do their job properly. Unless BR told them not to bother marking that player, can't blame him for it.
Other than organisation at the back as a whole seemed to collapse (open play as well) as soon as the switch happened? At one point Kelly was making clearing tackles for the useless Johnson at LB and he's supposed to be the RB!!! We've given away more free kicks in the last 10 minutes than whole first half at the back.
If I were Mignolet I would be very angry. Can't keep a clean sheet because of stupid individual mistakes. Every match. Cut it out. Also we need to speed up the movement of the ball. First half was one touch football. They clearly had instructions to release the ball within seconds. Now they're dawdling and trying to play it safe. Not what we need at the moment.
I'm always fair, never denied his qualities. However, the issue I have with him is out in force today!
