.......... so we can stay up. It's a shame but I'll be cheering for Newcastle when they play ...... ......... Palace, West Brom, West Ham, Norwich, Hull, Fulham, Stoke away and Cardiff & Palace at home. When you look at the amount of 'relegation teams' they've played at home it makes their position look less impressive. However, we could do with them winning quite a few of their away games against our relegation rivals. If we stay up by them qualifying for Europe then that's a price I'll be happy to pay. We have 8 'relegation teams' to play at home including Norwich who we should beat ........ I'll start to worry, for the first time, if we don't.
With you all the way on this buddy. All that matters is that we stay in the league, watching them have another inglorious failure in Europe is no biggie to me, after all, we'll also be there after we win both cups.... (stand by for deluded comments even though I'm clearly taking the piss)
We need every team playing our rival relegation teams to win tbh. I dint mind the filth getting to Europe as we will be there shoving the Capital One Cup down their throats too. Lol
You must do, if they beat Palace today that could be a massive boost for us. I give a flip about every team anywhere near us, as well as the teams that can beat them.
Having to wish success for the nags, due to how poor our team has been is a sad situation. I've thought about it, but just can't bring myself to do it. I believe they will beat them anyway, therefore i feel a tiny bit better that i don't need to wish them well.
It's simple really Smug, let them do the hard work by beating all the teams around us, we do our bit with 10 league wins, then the get to the final of the Capital One Cup with Man City (win it if we can, but for the sake of my argument the final will do), then we are safe and take the last place in Europe instead of them. That's what I am praying for anyway. Merry Christmas to all of you contributors to Not 606 and your families and I hope Santa grants all of your wishes for the future.
oh the irony. almost the reverse of our own fixtures. i don't give a fook where they end up provided we stay up. they can start by beating palace today, and let's see what happens after that.
Disagree they could beat some of those teams and still finish below Man City Chelsea Arsenal Liverpool Man Utd Spurs Everton Souhthampton No Europe for 9th
Or a better scenario is they lose every game left this season and go down and we accumulate another 30 points. Seriously though. I'll support anyone playing the relegation rivals. We need as much help as we can get
Unfortunately I was mistaken, we need to win the Capital One Cup to secure a place in the Europa league. Needs must, we'll just have to win it then.
But If they don't pick up points off the Nags, they'll likely pick up points from somewhere else, everyone is going to pick points and chances are we're all going to pick up suprise points at some point. What I'm getting at is still focused on our own results at this stage.
The other teams who play us have the ref on their side though, the **** players go down at the slightest touch and the refs buy it. At least in the championship Atkinson and the other conspirators won't ref our games.
You lot should stop this fixation with us and concentrate on your own mess. Missed a really good chance to move on a bit against Norwich when all around you fell. We done you a favour. Listening to you i should wish you ill. But i don't. Just get on and support your team. ps. i hope you don't win the cup though.
You board had a sunderland thread as your top topic for nearly a month that spanned 8 pages http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/236553-Mackems Presently your 4th top topic is also a Sunderland thread which incidentally currently spans 6 pages http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/240775-When-Sunderland-get-relegated At least this thread is completely relevent to our relegation plight. Whats your excuse because your Sunderland threads are completely irrelevant to your club. Or you can just ignore this and stay away
