On the 29 of December last year Chatterbox beat My Tent Or Yours over 2 miles at Newbury on heavy ground. He was receiving 5lbs and McCoy gave MTOY a shocker, but it was still a top class effort. Ground will be heavy, which we know this horse loves. I'm not reading to much into Barry Geraghty choosing to ride Rolling star. I would rather he was on, but he knows which owners to keep sweet. Given a livener(winning would of done him no favours for this, not that i'm suggesting anything untoward.) over C&D again last month i'm hoping it's put him right for this.

Never mind that over-rated hack - get on Pine Creek at 20-1 in the 15-35 at Ascot :D

There are any number of contenders for this one, but I feel this has a smashing ew chance at cracking odds <ok>

The Ladbroke isn't a race I'd normally chance but spent a bit if time going through it and conclude Pine Creek 20/1 is simply overpriced. Was sent of 6/1 favourite for a similar handicap at Cheltenham last month and ran a fair race finishing 6th but was going very well until a mistake halted him somewhat. John Ferguson isn't everyone's cup of tea as a trainer but his Prince of Siegfried was running a blinder today in the Grade 2 until falling at the last and I think Pine Creek could provide some compensation.

Love this horse, but it is taking a lot of things on trust first time out. I thought they might of found something a bit easier for him if they were going for a win. I think they might just be trying to get him adjusted back to hurdles and get some confidence back with a view to another crack at the world hurdle. I won't be backing but i wish you luck with your bet because i would love him to win.

Salubrious is capable of getting involved in the finish today. The Martin Pipe is very strong this year.

Wheres Stick I want to borrow his wheel barrow
I think Greatrex will be looking forward to a massive chritmas bonus today 6/1 available ew at them odds for me but what a chance this one has hatrick on the table for jockey and horse !
jockey boast 3 outings 2 wins one 3rd last two runs being wins
this year the horse boasts 3 wins 3 thirds and a 4th against non other than chatterbox
the distance today is 24f the jockey has taken the mount once and won the horse has run the distance twice and won both times
There times to distanc are impeckable
be warned though I am only giving you my analysis gamble at your own risk(I cant be bothered with sly comments pbew)
315 haydock BALLYCULLA good luck Sheehan(not that you will need it)

Morning everyone - i'll start by wishing everyone on here a very happy and magical Christmas.!!<magic>

    My Bets today:-

Haydock 2.05pm - Samstown. 11/1 BPG.E/W. I was very taken by this ones effort at Market Rasen latest. Stayed on very strongly and no reason to think he wont improve in quite an average looking Tommy Whittle.

Ascot 3.35pm - Recession Proof 28/1 BPG E.W (5 places with Bet365 folks!). This horse has been very classy in the past. Goes well in soft ground and stays further than 2 miles. I think there will be an emphasis on being able to stay in this race today. Bit of a strange preparation for the race having run over 3 miles at Cheltenham but jockey booking takes my eye. If he retains any of his old ability he will be involved in the finish.

Have also done Willows Saviour 11/1 BPG E.W 5 places. The bottom one keeps catching my eye and the Skeltons seem to rate him. a step up in class but could well be up to it. Again a horse who can stay beyond 2 miles well by looks of things.

    Good luck everyone......

In a desperate search for a value bet to pay for the chrimbo pud with minimum outlay, I am once more drawn into throwing yet more money away on Consigliere in the 1.50 at Ascot. In fact he's going in a e/w double with Shotavodka in the Ladbroke. That'll put a tree up the fairy's nethers if they both go in.
