Yeah ok shwan, our club owners deliberately put the club in a lose lose situation and then openly said how happy they are about it.<laugh>

    Ok I'll bite, once.

You keep asserting that we will not get more money "next season" if we sell him. I assume you must mean season ending 2015, other wise what money would we have lost on pay this summer? His pay rise kicks in NEXT season so if he's sold this summer we haven't paid a penny extra. Glad to have cleared you up on that point.

You keep plucking added years to his old contract. Consensus has it ending 2016. Forgive me if I trust LFC sources to your hopes and dreams. So if with 3 years to go (summer past) after behaving appallingly , and agitating for a move we could stand our ground and refuse 40M; what on earth makes you believe that if offers come in this summer with 4 years left (as of now) we couldn't refuse a higher offer than that? Logic follows that any offer accepted would have to be considerably higher: money made.

If you did indeed mean summer 2015, then that's yet another season away, and we just don't know what another year of Suarez in his prime plus more additions will do to our squad, league position and hence Suarez attitude to LFC.

Buy out clause: we all assume there's one this time around, it's logical but why would LFC make it 40M when they refused that last summer under conditions stated above, then turn around and make that the minimum amount this year???? So logic again suggests a buy out clause (especially as he is in a blinder of a season AND extended his contract in effect doubled the length left by this summer), that will be much higher than 40m...

Never mind, if his goals get us CL with its added millions...

You're just plain wrong mate. Deludedly so.

    Professor Shwan strikes again.

I would assume that the reason this is good news is that their best player has just signed a new contract which signals an intention to stay, therefore reducing the fear, which was apparent, that he will leave this coming window or the next.

If there is indeed a clause in his contract it will be quite obviously higher than any previous one so they make a bucket of cash if he does go.

Even for you, this is quite straightforward to understand.

    *or rather it should be*

your club owners are desperate to make him happy and ready to suck his ......thumb to get into the CL and ready to make any risk
not to mention to hide their failure to make any good signing in coming January.. look to what Former Liverpool midfielder Ray Houghton had said !!!he believes Luis Suarez's contract extention is on par with Arsenal's signing of Mesut Ozil. he is right... but the only problem is that Suarez already signed a contract last season ... to make it in bar with Arsenal signing Ozil is a joke <laugh> but Liverpool are just desperate to make Suarez and fans happy ... let us face it, without Suarez you are a mid table club

hhhhh the only problem he signed a contract a year ago <laugh>
in a practical term, signing a new one didn't made Liverpool in a better position if he wanted to leave in next summer, if they are out of CL spot, he is leaving with same price (with or without the new contract) , and if Liverpool qualified, he is staying anyway ..

why should I be hurt ?
but to say Liverpool is in a better position if he wanted to leave in the summer, that is simply stupid statement and that is what am arguing, you consider this getting hurt , hhhhh feel free, but that don't change the facts he will go for same money when he want to leave next season <laugh>

I can only assume this is what poking a lame frog with a pointy stick would be like. It's not actually any fun.

Ruff. Do the native American from one flew over the cuckoo's nest on this one would you?

yet we didn't give Rooney a new contract a year later after he signed one, Rooney still didn't get the new contract he is requesting since seasons, no wonder why he was pi$$ed by end of last season
